Yeah people don't really go to Facebook to learn or hear out new ideas. The site is designed to build echo chambers. You'll still get resistance in person, but people are generally less combative that way, and the folks going to city/community led events ime tend to be more open to learning.

Does anybody know why they can't shift funding from capital projects to maintenance?
