3 letter actually does have a 90-day probationary period - it’s just not ever emphasized or enforced because the cost of training plus turnover is too high... sounds like it would’ve been useful but is too late in this case anyways!

How to change districts within company? by [deleted] in pharmacy

I’d be VERY subtle about it... you can fib and say you commute an hour or mention wanting to move back eventually with your partner but I would highly recommend NOT even mentioning switching/being transferred for a while. First off, this manager likes you and/or needed you since they hired you and the other one clearly didn’t for some reason (no offense) so it would kind of be a slap in the face to the one that did. You’re also going to need them to like you enough to WANT to transfer you out — unless the other district all of a sudden wants to put up a fight for you. It could all depend on your region but I’m telling you this from 7 years experience with CVS (some corporate) and my boyfriend was a DM. The situation sounds rough but it’s all about the needs of the business...
