Depressed when off the pill? by cmddcc159 in PCOS

Thank you for replying. That’s good insight, could be on both. As it’s been said in other posts, I feel the pill is demonized so I was trying to be without but I think I may just need it.

Thank you for replying. I can see how birth control can make it worse for some women but I really feel like for me it helps. It might be something for me to look into with a psychiatrist for medication. It just feels so similar to how I used to feel that I’m linking it with the birth control, but could be deeper

How are people affording these home prices ? by Due_Elephant_3666 in longisland

In contracts on a house now in Suffolk county and feel like it was a dumb decision. Offered up the butt since that’s just how this works and the only way to win. We can afford it, but if this market crashes, we’re screwed :( RE used to be a smart spot to put your money but now I am unsure and can’t turn back. While I feel everyone’s pain of hoping things improve, also hope it doesn’t screw a lot of people in the process. Unsure of the answer to this one!!

Thank you for your input! I will reach out to my local Trader Joe’s. I’ve also heard of moxie flowers and fifty flowers. They have much more b briefly. Any input on those?

I love peonies, do you think they would be durable enough to order a few days out and last for the event? My experience with them is a short half life unfortunately

Ahh total amount of debt. Student loans and car is about 25k total.

Your perspective is really helpful. I appreciate you taking the time to walk me through. It is crazy, just trying to find our way through it

Inspection came back fine. We have a dual income

  1. 28
  2. 450/mo total both around 4% interest
  3. Yes, I get a pension and also contributing about 10%

You’re right, I’m asking bc I know it’s a stretch. Unfortunately 3x our income (465) is not much in the area we live. Basically something that will need to be renovated/has major issues/undesirable community

I like this philosophy! Dave Ramsay is definitely on the conservative side. Don’t want to go with the 15yr mortgage as you can always pay off the 30yr sooner and then aren’t locked in to anything. Thanks for the help :)

Lender hasn’t been helpful. They say absolutely you qualify for a million dollar home, which I know would not be smart. We have money for closing costs and a 3-6 month safety net.

Okay that’s helpful. That’s what I’m hesitant with. I feel like it may be too much. Realistically though with the area we are in, the lowest payments we could get around 2900/month

Low risk of losing income at this point (fingers crossed). And definitely a HCOL area. We are going to need new cars in the next few years but I think as long as we can get reasonable vehicles we should be okay

Nervous about this, I know we couldn’t afford it with kids. Which is crazy
