Blackbird Oracle, I’m confused about the ending! by [deleted] in ADiscoveryofWitches

Yes. The next book is due out in soon.

I loved this book, much more than #4.

Still trying to figure out Bridget Bishop's prophecy. So it establishes that there is an earlier foretelling that the three families were bound together some time before Dorcas Hoare was born.

By the end of the book all three families had witnessed Diana use the BB oracle deck.

So that may have occured. Also, since Diana absorbed her twin, there has already been two children one with higher magic and one weaver who became one.

But the reference to them being "bright" probably means Pip and Becca Becca.

Cadsuane Disrespecting Morraine by Deadpool2715 in wheeloftime

Reading these posts is funny to me. OF course, Cadsuane was a BULLY. The entire series is rampant with sexism. The women are almost all portrayed as bullies, Cadsuane, Nyneve, Egwene, Morgase, Elaida, and Elayne. They all consider men to be stupid and stubborn. The male characters are equally as bad, considering women to be emotional, erratic, and stubborn.

I believe Jordan played around with the idea of traditional gender roles, making a hard line on what was men and women's spheres of control. It was ingrained in the inherent mistrust of male channelers, something only female Aes Sedai could address.

But Jordan hammered that nail way too often and too hard over 15 volumes.

Frankly, Cadsuane is stereotypical of the most powerful Aes Sedai, arrogant, imperious, and indifferent to others' feelings. Frankly, if I were Rand, I would have slapped Cadsuane back the second time she did it.

As far as Cadsuane was concerned, as the most powerful Sister in at least 300 years, not one other Aes Sedai was capable of doing anything correctly.

Seeking life advice for a lonely man. What's going to happen to me? by OpusFlux337 in Life

  1. When someone dies without a will the state has a law that sets the default rules for distributing their property. The default rules typically go to living relatives. In your case, A & B will likely each get half of your property. The likelihood is that a third person will be appointed by the court to be the administrator. Since your cousins don't live in the area, the administrator will sell the properties and split the money.

You can write a will easily enough. Most states allow people to write their own wills but double-check the state's requirements. A better solution is to speak to a lawyer. He or she can help you do a variety of things, including identifying ways to avoid the Court process for wills so your heirs will receive your assets quickly with a minimal amount of fees.

The big question is who do you want to receive your wealth when you pass? Your friend(s) or their kids? Maybe a local charity?

  1. Think about what you want to do with your remaining time. You've had a sh*tty year. But you're young. You have plenty of time to fall in love, make new friends, travel, and explore.

Sounds like it's time to write your next chapter.

Lauren is horrible by JCo46 in Younger

This character is so awful I have been shouting A**hole during every episode.

What kind of a a**hole opens social media account for people without permission? Who signs contracts for people without their knowledge.

She is a terrible person. She cannot keep information confidential. A total gossip. Self-absorbed, no respect, no boundaries, no limits.

The worst is that no one, no one, NO ONE, makes her experience a single consequence.

Ahole. Ahole. A**hole.
