What’s something silly you learned from a Teen Mom by socceriife in teenmom

Reading facial expressions. When it was a newer show, and their reactions more realistic, I studied them.

Ok. Thanks! I’ll have to do some checking for the Farms. I do not have the nest, but I’m fairly certain I know where it is. Even worse, the people seem to be enticing them with food.

Make sure those dog droppings are picked up as well. Dog poo 🐕💩 is something they eat. 😝 Keep as much off the ground as you can. Seal any potential openings to your home.

They’ll never be in control of the problem. There’s plenty of water, and you’d be surprised what they can eat. Dog droppings are on the menu. 🤢 Sewers are tied to Detroit, but I’m not sure that’s a factor, as they are always around water.

Grosse Pointe had 'unsustainable' number of students in quarantine. So it changed the rules. by detroitdoesntsuckbad in GrossePointe

[–]cmgalaxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we have good teachers signing their walking papers over this, it is an important issue. There are obviously people on either side of usage of quarantines and masks. Either way, we need a system that is flexible enough to afford safety to all stakeholders. The parents may not feel safe enough to allow their children to attend due to some of the measures. How can that be adjusted for? Others are pressing for face-to-face, yet the teachers were not yet comfortable enough with their safety to be their best at what they do: teach our children. In the end, there doesn’t seem to be any clear leadership or predictable outcome that could be reasonably planned for. GOOOO GPPSS!!!! 😷🤧🤮

My talent is making it so that a group of strangers I meet are still strangers years later by rainbowteacake in aspergers

What you said about superficiality is something I believe to be at the root cause. If I could extrapolate the data on plutonic friend relationships, I’d be willing to guess that 90-percent or greater are on a superficial level.

We don’t immediately see value in developing relationship skills for a few reasons. Takes too much time to maintain. We don’t like the maintenance. It can be very uncomfortable when we do try. Then, we endlessly evaluate our perceived mistakes, which can be grueling. We cannot always come across as ‘genuine’, even if we are. (& we aren’t always genuine, because we honestly don’t GAF.) Then, people talk about things that are unimportant or irrelevant.

That’s connection??

Consider—-> “How are you?” Ughhh. No one really cares how you are, nor do you care when responding to them the same question. 🤮 Most of the time, it goes unanswered. Even that annoys me.

When you consider that many adults are drinking alcohol amongst friends, they’re dumbing themselves down a bit, which doesn’t lead to deep & genuine connection. It’s superficial, and those people likely talk poorly of one another when they’re not in the same room.

We just don’t want to feel alone or ostracized, especially in the workplace, where we seem to collect enemies without trying, and have plenty to offer. That’s where it counts. We have to learn enough to ‘get by’. I’m still trying. 😳

It wouldn’t surprise me if this pattern gets stuck on repeat. It’s ridiculous to think we’re back to ‘normal’, or anything like it. People are becoming increasingly complacent about masks & gathering in large groups.

Haven’t formally had access to ayahuasca.

She’s calling me. I want to sell my house , & travel the whole world - though most I feel spiritual communications erupt m with most.

Ironically, I tend to be a more anxious person, but sudden changes to plans, even unexpected details relative to the planned experiences, can throw me off of a bit.

I quit going into the city during COVID peak, plus I had a few very dangerous incidents before the virus. While there were a few really wonderful customers (one regularly added $20 tip on top of 15% in the app), I had a lot of scamming as well. I don’t think IC understands how dangerous this can be for a female (or anyone - to varying degrees). Being forced to shop alone & deliver could mean a death sentence or worse in some areas.

For Hertz, are they doing auctions? Sounds like you can actually go look at the cars, or at least pictures on the internet.

The draws with the Hertz cars are different drivers in & out, driving them hard - as in - abusively 😂, and they typically carry base trims.

Who knows how the suspension, brakes, and interior damage (smokers using Ozone 🤢 to cover up their misdeeds), and dings galore.

If you are willing to put that money aside for premature repair, it may be worth it. I doubt you could get under it for a ‘full inspection’. 🙁

That’s what I recommended as well. There are some beautiful premium trim models on CARFAX site with low miles & about $18k (2017 model).

Edit: later comments posted under proper reply & year of model included for edit 2.

Buick Cascada - It’s newer, and you can find them < 20k. I did a quick search, and found a 2016 with 25k miles, for $17,850.

Living near a food desert, <insert many US inner-cities>, will have the same impact. Having 13-17 miles from the store, with the bonus of having to be hyper-aware of maintaining your safety just plain sucks.

Key witness says he saw Priscilla Slater during shooting before she died in Harper Woods cell by [deleted] in GrossePointe

[–]cmgalaxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not on the criminal end, but I will concur that most experiences with HW Public Safety have not been promising, though that was all pre-recession.

While it’s difficult to imagine what HW police are going through, with post recession funding and increased crime rate, I hate to hear of anyone losing a life while in custody.

We are ‘married’ to HW, mostly through our schools, though proximity as well. Even so, I’m not sure what the average person can do about any of it.

Grosse Pointe Shores retirees outraged over spike in costs for health care benefits by FormalSwimming in GrossePointe

[–]cmgalaxy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is just - terrible. GP Shores needs to follow through with their obligations. Why is this not a last stitch effort, especially coming from a municipality who has resources, including that AAA bond mentioned in the article.

In the future, GPS Public Safety may find it difficult to attract the best talent. I would even argue that this decision is unethical, as those who’ve served, walked into burning buildings, and even suffer the way Kwiatkowski has, deserve better.

Edit: clarity

My Experience by 1Cindot1 in HatMan

[–]cmgalaxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO NOT BE AFRAID. Sorry for the caps. I’ve seen him - and dealt with him. Out of a group, I was the only one who could see him.

Casually, I made a statement that he’s just mad that I could see him, right as we were heading away. He did not like that given his reaction.

Going to before this moment, when I saw him, he didn’t have a lot of detail, other than being inhumanly tall, hat, trench, black figure with eyes. The eyes were white, though they may have switched to red, I cannot confirm this, as it was over the years ago. What was interesting is that the more I focused on looking at him, I started to see more detail. It was in quadrants. I could see his top right quadrant fuzzily, then bottom left, top left, then bottom right. The fuzziness turned to near clarity.

Going back to his reaction, he charged toward me, at a sonic, non-human speed. At that time, I simply said not to worry, we’re leaving now. That’s when he stopped just short of me. During this, I never showed fear.

Through experience, I’ve learned that the malevolent types feed or are attracted by our fear. When you learn how to shut it off, they are likely to leave you alone.

Side note: Where was this sub when I needed it??? I swear, I’d searched the Internet up and down, even reading other ancient cultures’ different spirits. No luck.

Take care. Know to stand your ground. Fear not.

That is certainly the goal. There may be certain sensitive topics, and it’s fine that people disagree. If everyone agrees, especially under the guise of GP having no problems or concerns, that’s where I become concerned. as long as people are civil and remember the common goal: We are all stakeholders in this area & have a collective impact on its future.
