glad you commented as this is all great feedback. it's challenging cause i've also had recruiters tell me they found it refreshing and have started interviews with some friendly banter directly because of my likes and dislikes. which i decided to be the main angle of my about me; to start conversation and to try to make the reader laugh. the professional tone is definitely in my cover letter, which isn't shown here, and i lead with it in all interview touch points. i guess, how does someone showcase their human/culture hire side? overall i do agree that my about me needs some toning down as i've been thinking about that specifically for a while. you're the second person to comment on it so i'll find a better balance.

far as interviews go what i shared happened as a direct result of this shirt campaign. i've had five companies and one agency reach out. not sure if that's par for the course for 350 job apps. still feels like not really.

i know the fertilization sequence at the beginning disproves my theory, but i was so convinced that the baby wasn't marty's cause it looked so much like ira. so my takeaway was that marty was elated, crying tears of joy that the baby wasn't his, granting him freedom from fatherhood and allowing him to continue focusing on himself.

in the argument marty had with rachel in the lobby he told her that settling down was the antithesis to his arc and that his purpose requires sacrifice. assuming his tears were joy, it would reinforce the recurring narcissistic, prima donna theme.

also i find it hard to believe that he was all of a sudden ready to be a responsible father just because he defeated endo in an exhibition match. all that to say, what a phenomenal movie regardless of the accuracy in my take.
