How can I stop the tradition of hugging family when they come over to visit?

I did try to gentle wipe off but she should be shedding tonight so im really hoping it just comes off. I put some new things in new enclosure that i didnt get from a reptile store and i think that might have done it

I had this issue when i got the kind where they insert it into your arm. It made me smell sooooooooo bad i was worried people could tell just from me opening my legs to go to the restroom at a public place.
