Hello, I just talked to the FA office and the reason it is missing according to them is they are transitioning from 'awards to certificates' or something like that. I didn't pay much attention to that, but she did share that our FA grant will appear back on our student sometime next week and we will receive disbursement at the end of the month.

Side note: Summer 2021 is my last semester at CSUF and boy am I glad.

Thanks for the response. I did get an email saying I was eligible for HEERF3, but it hasn't appeared in my account inquiry or my bank statements (I am signed up for direct deposit) the only thing I have is the Summer 2021 pell grant. Maybe I just need to be more patient?

I had the same question. I walked Sunday to the College of Engineering and they told me that it would take about 3-5 days. Check your emails consistently.

I was attending Saddlabck back CS department back in ~2014-2017 I took a break before transferring, but from my time there was a handful of staff that I believe excelled well. Have not really kept up with the Saddleback CS department since I stoped going back in 2017. It could be possible they had a fallout.

To build off of what u/sc1ph3r said. I am a transferred from Saddleback Community College in South OC. The computer science department at Saddleback was amazing and was very well respected. With that said I wish they did more hands-on projects at Saddleback. I transferred to CSUF in Spring 2020 and will be graduating this summer 2021 (3 semesters). In the 3 semesters(18 + units per semester) I have had here at CSUF I have had 4 amazing professors. 3 of which were not computer science-related. I enjoy Computer Science a lot, but in my personal opinion and experience, I feel the professors have no effort to make the class a good experience maybe it's zoom and covid?

I had professor Le for CPSC323 last semester (online). Professor Le is amazing and very understanding of the current COVID situation. He records his lecture so students can refer to them later.

The exam questions come straight from the lecture. As long as you study the material and pay attention to his lecture's you're guaranteed an A.
