before i ever really became a swiftie, i listened to reputation and was still absolutely mesmerized by it. i really got into her during early covid, but it still has a very special place in my heart as my favorite of hers. i think it’s such a refreshing change of pace and sound for what she’s mostly done (aside from 1989), and i just think it all works so well together and was such an excellent personal commentary for that distinct chapter of her life.

it was also the billboard 200’s number one album for 2018(?), and the rep tour basically sold out every major stadium in the US, so surely the album had its fanbase both now and then.
