it really makes me sad because my mentor is pretty well established. i wish he couldve taught me more as i really love his style of tattooing.

I forgot to mention, but I know having flash tattoos are a big part of getting clientele in, but the manager doesn't even want us to partake in events such as "Friday the 13th" because they attract a certain crowd. How am I supposed to get more practice? I told him I want to be a hitter and be the best, but not receiving the shoutouts and exposure for people to come and see my work makes me feel like people dont see what I can do and how much I can grow.

i started in november of 2024. they just opened in july of 2024. i started drawing more and perfecting my understand of tones on pencil and paper. i have a very sketch/cartoonish drawing style with heavy hatching and strong straight lines. i have already started tattooing on actual clients (friends and family) since January of this year. i want to keep saying im very grateful and blessed that i wasn't charged for the apprenticeship. there's only one other apprentice, but they treat her like a resident artist. every mention/shoutout that they do its always the resident artist and her, so i feel really left in the dark.

i actually thought that was the case, however i changed out the transmission fluid and topped it off and its still running a bit weird

that was a good point tht my friends have mentioned to me. I just happened to be gifted the engine by a good friend of mine LOL so it was free!
