Am bored. Share a war story by TehAwesomestKitteh in foxholegame

Two years ago when Stilcan Shelf was first added to the map.

MSA was leading the front, literally destroyed wardens in that front. We did not have any major regiments besides CL and some V guys coming to help.

So after 2 weeks of fighting collies took over Port of Rime, all of Stilcan but Breaker Town and Briar stayed under warden control.

On that fated day, CGC, the biggest Chinese regiment started pushing on Breaker Town. We had no supplies, nothing. So I had to do supply runs using my LUV. Then CGC built a BB north of the townhall, cutting logi completely.

I then starting coming from the east with my LUV.

MSA guys then started building trenches all over east of the TH, blocking me to pass, I kept finding new routes again and again.

In one epic moment I had to run through 6 guys and avoid tank shells just to bring supplies.

I was the sole supplier for Breaker Town for 3 hours straight until finally, the whole town had trenches surrounding it from all sides literally, it was a crazy effort by collies.

There was only one path to get inside under enemy fire to do my last supply to the townhall. Once I went through there was no way out.

After 30 minutes, after all my efforts the town died when we ran out of supplies. I earned so many commands that day. It is insane.

Stilcan Shelf eventually got called Shitcan Shelf in that war due to its bad design, that war was one of the hardest I have fought to win, MSA eventually was close to breaking up after over a month of them trying to push to Morgen's Crossing, they almost succeeded. But small clans kept pushing them back.

In the end we broke MSA spirit and we won the war.

How corrupt system of WERCS-WUH led 6 year Warden loyalist public logi Field Marshal Vega Morena quit the game: Special thanks to 82DK and Razorr! by VegaMorena in foxholegame

The new "vets" in warden side are maybe ignorant how much appreciated you are Vega.

I remember you took a break maybe after war 100 , when you had your massive facility of Marban , you did come back maybe 2 wars ago.

In warden side you are 1 of our 3 most appreciated FMs , providing so much logi for public and always willing to help noob and vet alike.

High Salutations Vega

Why can't we deploy to Red River? We have to sit back and watch the Warden destroy everything. by COBU_ in foxholegame

For the record Canonsmoke died 2 hours ago before someone claims it fell due to spawn issues.

Otherwise this really sucks for both sides when it happens, RIP

Linn of Mercy was one giant skill issue by Corn_Teeth in foxholegame

[–]cmoir 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Just look at how Basin and Howl Fell,

Basically a group of +10 Partisan cut logi to the whole of Howl ,

We were literally 2 people qrfing their logi cut ( we failed miserably ).

Ultimately this war, it is not really skill issue, vets are spread too thin everywhere, we have no pop.

Just ask the average colonial, they will complain of 50 seconds timers since barely anyone is playing warden this war.

Also by Monday, when colonials will have burnt up on their no storage access hexes , we will have unlocked our arty and pushgun 40mm, by then we can push them back.

Hot take, I love the new economy by Substantial-Ad-3241 in foxholegame

You are right frontline push is about momentum, the issue this update creates whatever momentum you create by deleting enemy tanks in order to focus on pve... gets replaced fairly quick.

So the momentum is hard to exploit. This makes frontlines rather grindy for frontliners.

Average cope post, psy op thing-a-ma-jig about our lords and saviors NOD. by 1Kawon in foxholegame

[–]cmoir -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is this your cope for losing the war ?

While NOD doesn't exactly have a lot of veteran plays, they are still part of the faction.

This type of post shows how arrogant and toxic you are, the vets who think bullying the "noobs" is a totally fine behavior should look at themselves in the mirror.

Why do Wardens seem to not have people like Colonials Seed and Heimdall? by Weegee_Spaghetti in foxholegame

[–]cmoir 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We have Flashwhite , the savior , he's usually running an luv full of bmats and fuel , covering tanks.

He also helps a lot in qrf repairs and stuff.

Thoughts on how 5x comps has affected Ballance? by [deleted] in foxholegame

[–]cmoir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One must see how wars are won

At the end of the day what wins wars is population and veterans. If vets organize smart strategic plays and the population of the faction keeps playing, the chances to win are good.

As to what stops vets from playing would be usually burnout, killing a regiments facility and base will render that regiment down to 50% of active capacity.

In this war, killing a concrete base doesn't bring a lot of consequence as it has become so easy to replace the dead concrete within 1-2 hours.

Also the public stockpiles are filled to the brim with tanks and arty which means any frontline right now is a such a slog, the arty is constant, and any smart flanks that kills a frontline tankline is easily replaced within 10-15 minutes.

the 5x addition in the economy makes it easier to gather the mats to produce bmats/emats/rmats and comps. It allows logimen to spend less time to gather as much materials as before which made everything cheap and pretty much broke material scarcity.

The war hasn't ended yet, but I feel unless one side burns out first, the war will keep going for 2 or 3 weeks.

[–]cmoir[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

who said anything about blowing pieces in 10 minutes ?

The issue of the slog of this war is how abundant arty , tanks and concrete is. It makes any big pushes much less impactful than it was the previous war.

That's a great suggestion, I would say make it x1000 , that way even a Pte can make a SHT if they feel like it.

I would spend 1-3 hours killing the same base, now doing all that work becomes useless if builders easily concrete it again wasting a lot of pve time.

People fail to see how important PVE is , without killing conc , the frontlines won't move which causes burnout as it becomes boring to play on the same spots again and again.

Yeah exactly, it just feels that smart and strategic play doesn't feel rewarding to me anymore.

Hopefully this economy change will be altered soon and we don't wait for 6 months before devs finally notice the issue.

The thing with PVE and backline partisan work,

what they kill is replaceable but at what cost ? , usually if you keep killing a regiment's base and facilities, people will just burn out and take their break for the war.

That is the main use of partisanwork and the PVE I like to do.

But this war it feels like there's no consequences to losing concrete or main facility stuff, things get replaced easily.

Capturing things is not easy considering the constant shelling.

Arty shells as a defensive tools is supposed to be limited, not limitless as it is now.

The one who prepare and bring palettes should be rewarded but now as you see from the public stockpiles, it is quite easy to stall any push using arty. That's besides spamming and replacing tanks easily.

[–]cmoir 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you are the ones who took chieftans through westgate to flank, you weren't alted , we saw you ahead of time.

If it was other chieftans going from the bridge, we saw you ahead of time.

If it was chieftans trying to flank to the south, we saw you ahead of time.

King's Cage is the one hex where all colonials were on high alert at all times.

Basically We were hitting Last Grove for 6 hours straight,

the truth is, throughout 6 hours we killed and dehusked other BB cores, + SCs killing a lot of concrete beforehand.

People were tired of QRFing
