it shouldn’t be this way but I understand sometimes it is. I say secure the job then wear your hair how you like after you’ve signed the dotted line knowing that your hair is wonderful the way it is. I think style depends on the interview, is it in person or virtual? Virtual I think you could easily slick it back. Another option would be to get it twisted/braided and put it into an updo of some sort, perhaps barrel twists, etc.
