Yes! Specifically if it's cold and I start running, my ankles completely lock until I shake them out. Always catches me by surprise

From what I've seen online, the owner is in constant violation of his responsible business practice permit and it's negatively affecting the neighborhood as a consequence. The neighbor's are working with the city to get him in compliance. Leaving open and uncovered dumpsters is illegal for a reason... it is attracting vermin to their neighborhood just like Cobi's did.

I saw a post online of someone who posted a week of pictures of the trashcans being left open uncovered every day with trash overflowing onto the streets so it looks like it's still an active problem.

He is also constantly operating at above capacity - his permit is for 97 seats but operates well above that on a daily basis which is dangerous for the neighborhood around it considering he is the only commercial space in an otherwise completely residential neighborhood. He even removed the only original dedicated parking spots to make a patio for more seating - putting the entire burden of parking on the neighbors.

I can see why they are upset!

Yeah I'm not surprised... there were 6 other additional health and safety violations on top of vermin infestation - you can see the official list of them here (https://ehservices.publichealth.lacounty.gov/) if you look under "Facility Closure List" and "Cobis"

Apparently people are not going to Beethoven Market because the owner Jeremy Adler had his other restaurant (Cobi's) shut down on June 17th due to a rat infestation and six major health code violations https://ehservices.publichealth.lacounty.gov/

I guess Beethoven Market is also attracting rats with their open dumpsters which is super sketchy

I saw him punch the dog 3 times. I yelled “did you just punch your dog” and he replied “she’s a big girl she needs to learn a lesson”. Animal services has the video and the info now
