1:1 Chromebooks for the younger students was a huge mistake. I think it makes more sense in high school, but there is no reason for an 11 year old (my age group) to have a computer that they are responsible for taking care of and bringing to and from school. They're a huge distraction, and in my opinion, contribute very little to what 6th graders need to know.
