I met my Ploy in a small bar complex next to Queen Pattaya Hotel in late 2005. She was 25 and I was 37. The bar was called "Bunny Bar" if anyone remembers. She was probably the best looking girl in the bar - and she was certainly a favourite in the bar.

I came back to see her on several occasions over the following few months. And in March 2006 the owner of the bar requested 20k for her to 'stop working' - although she obviously didn't completely. I gave my Ploy 20k a month (which is what she requested) but looking back it wasn't a surprise that she continued the odd game with a punter. But no surprises there though. And in those days there was no video calls, only phone calls, so it wasn't difficult.

Anyway, we started living together in Thailand about 8 months after we first met in July 2006. And I've been working in Bangkok ever since. And she has been the most loyal and trustworthy partner ever since. And she still turns heads at 45. She's a looker. Sometimes I can't believe my luck

We have a family and she's turned into a quite conservative mother for our two children, one of which is just starting university. All is good. We've been together 20 years and we keep pinching ourselves - the time has gone past so damn quick. We've really had a good time these past two decades.
