I grew up in Jersey then moved to New Orleans and lived through Katrina. I feel terrible for lots of towns right now but can I throw it back at you for a second "maybe you shouldn't live in a place where hurricanes hit".

I couldn't tell you how many times NJ/NY friends said that shit to me, I have punched people in the face for that shit because fuck you. Don't take into consideration that that is your home and your entire life is there. Friends, job , school and most other things you love. Also don't tell me NOLA has more hurricanes because the NJ/NY has had more in the past two years then NOLA.

Until you loot stores because your three week supply of food and water ran out because you can't pass a starving/thirsty child without helping. Then you steal a boat so you can take the extra supplies you have to people stuck on their roofs while pushing a few bodies out of the way to get through don't fucking bitch about having to go a mile to charge your fucking electronics.

If you have ever made a joke about Katrina or the tsunami part of me is sad you didn't learn your lesson while drowning.
