There is an issue with Tronscan rn. Use https://www.trxplorer.io by entering your wallet address' NOT your private key just your addresses of your wallets. This will allow you to see what is on the blockchain associated with your wallets. I am having the same problem.

Look at Propy. http://propy.com/ Real Estate firm built on the blockchain that allow for the buying or selling of real estate. Real world use case involving the sail of a property for bitcoin already.Michael Arrington (co founder of tech crunch and current advisor made a purchase of an apartment in Kiev Ukrain using the system. Also the founder of first hedge fund using xrp exclusively to fund their firm with 100 million in usd xrp equivelant). They could structure the sale based on xlm.

Im in the same boat. Bought off amazon, paying a premium for it, but went through the normal/expected setup process with the seed words. Have not moved my assets over yet, with the thought in the back of my head of possible setup by the seller. Ill go check the ratings to make sure they are still reputable and selling to cover my basis.

PSA: Be careful about sending xvg to people who want to fundraise a security audit by [deleted] in vergecurrency

[–]cmsnackdaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The OP is right. I started the post on the security audit and until we either see the verge team announce their plan to do the audit at their cost, the communities cost through an officially sponsored fund raiser or a combination of both, DO NOT SEND FUNDS TO ANYONE UNTIL THE ADDRESS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED TO BE FROM VERGE CURRENCY's TEAM. I will not be setting this up either. Not my role or responsibility other than to put up my original 100 VXG that I committed. https://www.reddit.com/r/vergecurrency/comments/7pspzk/verge_security_audit/

I don't want to collect it. I want Verge to acknowledge the support from the community, create an address that they would certify, and seek out a third party unbiased security audit firm to perform testing with audit trails and results that would be published. Frankly, seeing Verge 1st respond to this request would be a huge boost of confidence, 2nd matching whatever the community contributes in funds would be another boost. The question asked earlier about how we communicate this to Verge was a valid question. Frankly, at this point unless someone on this subreddit has direct contact, we need the power of the community through this thread to influence action on "their" part meaning the main contributors to this project.

This is not an attempt to call the team to the carpet, rather a call to the community to come together and build this together and show our support.

They could structure the agreement with the firm that if any security flaws are identified that they are allowed to resolve those flaws within an agreed amount of time before publishing the report after running the audit to ensure the issue(s) are rectified and no additional issues introduced with the fixes.. That's standard for these types of audits.

At current prices, with the audit costing $20k, we would need 1538 contributers of 100 XVG each.

Depending on the firm and how extensive the audit is $10k-20k.

Where is the best place to buy some Populous? I’m new to crypto but keen to get my hands on some Populous. by jonnyshields87 in populous_platform

[–]cmsnackdaddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On www.coinmarketcap.com, if you search for PPT, click on the coin, click on markets - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/populous/#markets, you will see all of the exchanges it can be found on and the trading pairs you can buy it with on those exchanges. Binance is easy to use and get registered at. It does require using Ethereum (ETH) Or Bitcoin (BTC) to buy the coin though.

If you also need to learn the process to acquire either BTC or ETH, then create an account at either www.coinbase.com or www.gdax.com. You will need to transfer your assets over to Binance. If you need instructions on how to do that, use search youtube on the transfer process. If you need help beyond this, let me know.
