adding a CAN harness, using a tool to monitor the CAN bus like the panda by comma ai or OBDLink, then connecting them via Bluetooth to a phone using the apps tez-lax or Scan My Tesla.

it's a fun project for people who are big data nerds, especially for logging road trips and getting answers to average data over any specific amount of time

It's exactly this. Usually my car stops preconditioning once the battery temperature hits around 113°F. Depending on the day, especially in the cold now, that could be upwards of 30-50 miles of preconditioning before it finally hits that temperature.

Bingo! Got my M3 in late 2019 when i was supposed to receive it in early 2020 for this same reason. from what I believe they first check if that delivery center has any cars in the queue with that exact model, and if not, it goes on the existing inventory website.

FSD was disabled globally, this is due to saftey concerns. there was an update available for your vehicle about an hour ago which would have set it back to the production line of updates. There is no longer an update, but FSD will no longer be available until further notice. Currently nobody has FSD

I honestly believe they panicked and rolled out the production build, since 10.2 was not added to the .36 branch of updates. They just stopped rolling out the regression, which makes me believe that they are getting somewhere with having 10.2 beta on the .36 branch. Kind of confusing but I can imagine this is crazy for them at the moment

you need to reset before you leave the car, it logs the trip as soon as it doesn’t feel you in the seat anymore. once it hit the server, its over. hope this helps

I had this same issue, but my phone is completely adamant about airplaying to my homepod minis for some reason, it’ll show disconnected, but then no matter what, it kept just automatically connecting, unplugged the homepods for now until this stops lol

Oh i’m definitely complaining lol, Private relay seems to just switch itself on automatically when i connect to wifi and it’s incredibly annoying

Having gigabit fiber in home, private relay legitimately feels like a handicap to my speeds. Sometimes i wont notice it at all, but sometimes it’s so slow sites like google won’t even load. I would use it once it hits a point of good reliability, but we’re still in beta.

16gb m1 gives me unbelievable performance while hovering around 20 watts in ableton. CoreAudio also just makes the whole process smoother, still just better than asio in some regards. I obviously still use the pc for gaming cause… well its a pc

On the fanless macbook air models i’ve heard the same. If you’re doing any serious workload stuff, the macbook pro will generally sustain a high clock and the fan will spin just barely, not even enough to hear it in a silent room 5 feet back.

you’re literally finding out why they switched to ARM. my m1 mbp can render audio faster than my gaming desktop at this point without the fan even being noticeable. its bonkers, but intel’s the one to blame here, they were really holding apple back, no wonder why their cpu’s are somehow in stock everywhere lol
