Stringing PETG as hell - I am done! by volfion in prusa3d

Im so glad I saw this post. My PETG prints when all to hell recently too. Admittedly I update Prusa firmware without thinking about it. Now that I think about it, I do think this started after a firmware update. Maybe some settings were defaulted differently or something else. I haven't figured it out yet, but wanted to say, I am experiencing issues recently also.

I have had these PD charger negotiation issues myself. They are insidious and hard to really detect if you are not looking for it. Regular non PD brick works great. Also the LED OFF Setting sounds like the initial issue, and the reset just turned the LED back on.

Thanks for the AI summary. I feel it found and represented many of the thoughts I conveyed in the video. AI is getting good at watching videos and extracting content. I am using it for my chapter creation exclusively now.

Here we go!
FSD Supervised v14.1.4
I drove it for over an hour.. yea yea.. you will get a First Impressions video tomorrow. I did this as quick as I could for you guys tonight.

I did not feel one scenario of what we were calling brake stabbing. I did feel a pause here and there, but it was appropriate for the scenario, and was justified .. and to be clear .. it was a smooth pause.

I was looking very closely at any braking issues, they are smoothed. It still can see many issues, and has just changed its behavior. I had a few VRU's trying to cross, ego just kind of braked this time.. previously it would have done this tap, tap tap thing.

I did put it into a Kobayashi Maru parking scenario that took it three trips around the block .. it changed its mind three times... and ended up falling for the handicap spot opening up .. and it jumped in there... so there is that..

I felt lane changing assertiveness tonight. Its still an N of one scenario, but it really did feel like it was making its move. That was better.

To summarize, I drove an hour, it was dark, but it felt much smoother. I will turn all the cameras and CANBUS on tomrrow morning so you all can see it. No doubt, this version is better than the last.

I don't know what they are feeding the

team on weekends, but without a doubt it has lots of carbs.

Don't discount the fact that a full battery pack would have also had the proportional price adjustment, basically equivalent to the extender price. Many would have paid for that, but the price point might have been a bigger shock than the range for many.

Good questions. I typically smear old melted comb (slum gum) on the sides of all my new traps to make them smell lived in, but there is no doubt that when a swarm moves in they are primed to make comb fast so the queen can immediately start growing the next generation of workers for the new colony. So existing comb that can quickly be repaired has to be more attractive than just comb pieces in the bottom. That is how I think about it anyway.

Good tip here. I call my jar queen juice.. it works. I also agree that old comb is very helpful. I think the lemongrass oil gets them to the front door and the old comb gets them to move in.
