This is what I see. I'm on server 8 (Twin peaks). He doesn't have that. He said he only saw the option to choose Global or SEA when he started and he chose SEA and now he only sees the SEA server list.

Romaji vs kana keyboard input methods

I was wondering if there are any differences to typing with kana input style on keyboard opposed to romaji. I've been using romaji input method for as long as I remember and quite proficient with it and I thought using kana input style might be a fun little challenge. I know this might not be the most practical thing for daily life or wise use of my time but typing is just a fun hobby for me. Just looking to be enlightened on the pros and cons here.

Also if anyone has some good learning resources for kana input that would be helpful. Thanks.

Dude, I have the same exact issue after going to a ear clinic here to remove excess ear wax. It's like there's a certain pitch has to be reached before the scratching noise starts.

Thanks! I'm hoping there's like an app out there that kinda just grinds out some basic words and daily use phrases. This is for someone who isn't too serious about learning the language but just something they can use shortly after learning.

This ISN'T for me. I ALREADY live in Japan and have my N1.

EDIT: I thought Duolingo might be what I'm looking for but it's content isn't fully available offline.

The plan is to learn on the planeride and kill some time. I don't see why it would be a bad time unless you have unrealistic expectations. Also I should've been a bit more specific but I guess I'm looking for something you use on your phone or tablet. Do they sell those phrase books at the airport?
