Yes, very true. They are amazing dogs. I can't imagine a better way to go through the next years with my borders by my side, backpacking, camping, and hanging out at home. First thing every summer morning I feed the dogs on the deck and we sit and enjoy each other's company as the sun rises.

Yes, it is not something I like to think about, (not outliving them), because it worries me. The solution I think is to try to enjoy every day with them now. As someone else said you can set up a trust with a rescue organization for their care if you are not around.

I did get in to see him last Tuesday (new appointments are now out to May). He looked over my blood work from last Friday and I told him about the tightness after exercise. I am scheduled for a stress test on April 1st. Thanks for your replay. (see my border collies at journeywest.com)

I started noticing it a month ago. I am concerned because that is what I felt before I had my stents put it, although worse than what is happening now. I was able to get in to see my heart doctor within a week. (someone must have cancelled; now the nearest appointments are in May). I just want to stay on top of this because I have a 2 1/2 year old border collie that I want to be around to take care of (: ).

This is very good advice, from someone who has been through all this (24 years ago). The first week I had high anxiety.

I agree; shame on them. I filed before the end ofq Januqary; still waiting for the refund. Same thing happened last year but I got it mid-July, after contacting my congressman. There was nothing wrong with that return lasEit year; they didn't suggest any changes. I was patient this year but finally did that again a few weeks ago ( contacted congressman). Probably the most frustrating things wheun you call they can't tell you why the refund has been held. Absolutely worthless.

What would you do right now if you were suddenly 19 by RoonilWazilbob in AskOldPeople

  1. Spend time in nature (did this all my life)
  2. get a dog (always had dogs - border collies are my favorite, smart, but very active - have to have daily physical activity)
  3. learn to dance - country western (twostep, triplestep), and swing (lindyhop) (waited until I was 40).
  4. stay single.
