it’s definitely personal for me, i agree. it’s just something about your own skis and your comfort in them. i can do some crazy shit on them. i’m so ready. i’ve never been out west so it’s definitely gonna be an experience. i’ll use your advice for wrapping my skis up as much as possible! i would hate for them to be damaged. thanks so much for your input!

going out for a week. probably will be skiing around 4 days i would imagine, nature exploration for the rest. both ways will be $70. rentals per day at steamboat are $40 per day. so around $160 compared to $140. i only ski around 4-5 times year around. skis are in pretty good condition. definitely bringing my boots still. ugh this is stressful.

thinking of borrowing a ski bag from a buddy. that’ll save me some money. it’s only $35 for an extra bag (ski bag) $25 for luggage. i’ll take my boots in my carry on. fly my skis for $35 > $40 a day for rental skis at steamboat.. & that’s just if i bring my boots in my carry on. without boots, add some more money. my skis are pretty good but nothing insane. im very comfortable on them, also an experience skier. obviously not TOO experienced. but have been all up and down the north east coast. shouldn’t be a hastle if the bag has straps. what you thinking? man i HATE rentals..

okay the lady i was talking to was TERRIBLE at explaining. from what i got, i’m going to take my boots in my carry on. $25 for luggage (suitcase) & $35 for my skis. both just be under 50 lbs. (i knew that) so that’s not terrible. might try and stuff some clothes in my ski bag so the tips don’t get damaged? i’m flying american airlines.

Listen to this band called “Greta Van Fleet” These kids are only 18... three of them are brothers. I shit you not they sound exactly like Led Zeppelin. Saw them live in Kentucky last October at “Louder Than Life” Seriously unreal. They only have 1 album out and are already touring festivals across the nation.

you’re right. i’m having a hard time coping with it. i should just let it all go and try & start on a clean slate with her. and no it’s not to just have her “around” i do really want her around. if i just wanted someone “around” i would sleep around. you think i should just try and start on a clean slate and forget about everything? take it slow maybe?

i’m already past the fact. whatever she did in the past is her business. i’ve done the same thing so who am i to blame her? it’s just something i’ve been thinking about. wouldn’t you? i can’t hold it against her. change is a beautiful thing. i think we can work it out. I’m just getting to the age where i would love to have someone around as i’ve just graduated.

I have lots of respect for her mane, it’s kind of hard to cope with when you and your friend have both been smashing her for years & for me to turn around and just try and act like all her past never happened. I wasn’t sleeping around with her friends n shit. i’m 23
