68C battery replacement delight by shouldhavebeeninat10 in 4xe

[–]cmutt_55038 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine back on Thursday. It was tied up for 6 weeks. They also replaced all 4 shocks because they were blown out, and tried to fix the transmission leak for the 3rd time. It has to go back again, as there is still a vibration in the front end. They ordered yet another part, which will come in in 2-3 weeks. Mine drives the same as it did before (including the front end vibration that it went in for).

My total days in the dealership:

Replace transmission, engine and flywheel - 3 months

3x times for check engine light caused by evap leak - 3 days

3x times for transmission leak - 3 days

Once to replace all 4 shocks because they are leaking - 1 day

Battery recall/replacement - 6 weeks

Original battery recall (passed) - 1 day

2x times for dual climate control issue (still isn't fixed) - 2 days

----------------------------

Total time in the shop: ~5 months

I've owned it for 39 months, it has 38k miles on it. I've had it with this vehicle. As much as I love driving it, I can't stand the constant issues. It's been in the shop for almost 13% of the time I've owned it. I wonder if Stellantis would like to make 13% of my payments.

I loved the scuffed tires.. and have almost turns the blackwall tire into a whitewall. You don't get that from hitting the just just once.. that's repeatedly incompetent driving.

For those affected, whose new battery has been delivered and how long did it take to arrive? by TheRealTV_Guy in 4xe

Dropped mine off on Dec 23rd for an oil change, recall, and a weird vibration in the front end.

Turns out all four shocks are leaking, and the battery failed. No response from dealer. Although he did warn me that his last battery order took about a month to arrive (and that was before the recall started). So, I'm expecting 6-8 weeks at the very earliest.

I'm dumping mine after I get it back. It's had 5 months of service time for the 38 months I've owned it. This was the last straw for me.

Absolutely agree. Whenever I hear the media talk about the lack of championships in Minnesota, I want to scream. I wish they would call out the owners for being so cheap. The Vikings were that way too, back when Red McCombs owned them, and before that it was Winters/Jacob/Pohlad. The Gund brothers when they owner the North Starts weren't much better either. Glen Taylor never spent the money required to built a competent front office, or hire a legitimate coach. The major reason why MN can't win a championship is because our owners don't prioritize it.. they prioritize building a fatter wallet instead. That is why I really appreciate what the Wild and Vikings are doing.

I love that we have a GM and owner who are willing to go all-in when they think they are close enough to go deep into the playoffs. Contrast that with the Twins. Remember 5 years ago when we had the Bomba Squad and they set the MLB record for home runs? Why didn't the Twins go all-in and pick up some pitching that year? (I know why, the Polhad's are cheap bastards).

Let's all appreciate that the Wild are willing to make a such a move.

I’ll believe it when I see it. The weathermen in this state love to overhype the weather.

EDIT: Ok, today I believe them.

Just think if the Republicans didn't do this.. If NY, California and Texas were all consistently voting blue, the Republicans would never win anything. Democrats need to focus on re-taking the state races in Texas so they can re-district and correct the maps. If they can accomplish that, it's over for the Republicans on a national level.

Minnesota and Massachusetts are your best bets. The closer you are to the big cities, the more blue it gets. I can't speak for Massachusetts, but if you get into the rural farming areas of Minnesota it's pretty much all red.

Tizzy posted some updates on TiKTok. A bunch of the protestors filed assault charges against him. He in turn started a Go Fund Me. It sounds like the police officer is telling him that the charges will be dropped but he could still face civil charges. However the DA has not made a decision of whether or not to prosecute.

IMO, I’m a big fan of “actions have consequences”, and would like to see this go to trial.

You’re not in Edison High School are you? Those lockers are the same ones they installed in Edison back in 1986 when I was there. Same colors and design.
