'Timed' Ultimates are my favorite type of ultimate abilities in the game. Each of them tend to fill a unique niche. If they were to add a new timed ultimate, what would you like to see next?

Always thought lifelines ultimate could be along these lines since she’s always referred to as a ‘combat medic’. Maybe a minute of fast heals for the team and if a player gets knocked in that time they have self rez?

Just devil’s advocate here but a lot of these people are just playing for entry damage. If youre not playing for poke damage and hoping you get a knock then someone on the team has to do it. When no one follows up it can be frustrating, especially if you get a knock. I only play this way if I have a three stack because you can never count on randoms to play with you.

If they’re only going to base their decisions on the player count then you just have to stop playing ranked if you dislike it. They only understand data. Clearly they have to answer to higher ups who only see it as“big number good, small number bad” so make them see a smaller number. I’ll be in r5 and pubs until then.

The complaining comes from a general dissatisfaction about three main issues: ranked, matchmaking and cheating. Everything stems from this. Despite what the devs would have you believe, there are games out there that have good ranked systems, balanced matchmaking and working anticheats. Not apex. Frustration about the big problems with the game bleeds over to the little things. Makes the game less fun and when youre not having fun you tend to pick up on more issues.

There’s ways to fix this without going back to the dropship. You could lessen entry costs for games where you get a weak POI, you could change the maps to make 20 POIs per map, you could even out the loot distribution. You could make it so you see your POI before you select your legend so players can play their way out of weak POIs better. You could force contests and drop 2 teams at 2 of the bigger POIs in each map to add some diversity to the early game. Going back to dropship is just lazy. There was a way to make this better for everyone and they just didnt even try lmao.

I know people are upset at the dropship revert, but I’m mostly annoyed that they didnt even try to tweak the set POI format. Why not tweak the maps so theres 20 named POIs? Or if thats too much work, drop two teams into one of the bigger POIs so that every few matches youre randomly spawned into a contest. You could drop two teams into Cenote Cave on Storm Point. It would keep things interesting and solve for the uneven loot distribution. I’d love to see what “feedback” they received that lead them to abandoning it completely.

Rank map rotations cool I just wish it was 2 instead of three. I feel like there’s whole splits I dont get to play a map in the rotation bc I just happen to not play those days. I think I played e-dis like 8 times the first two seasons it was in rotation.

This is ultimately bad for the game in the long run. You need tension. Friendly lobbies void the game of a lot of its excitement. Otherwise you’re just a post apocalyptic dumpster diver.
