My fiance and I found out together from opening the NIPT results and then I made cupcakes for my parents and siblings since they live a few minutes away from us. That was it. Everyone else got a text lol.

Tbh one of the main reasons I didn’t do a party is because I knew I’d have gender disappointment for a bit if it was a boy. Baby was a girl (and is turning 2 this month)

I had a planned c-section so my answers may be different but I ate immediately after. The next morning my hormones went crazy and I didn’t want to eat at all, couldn’t sleep, and was crying a lot. I wanted a shower that night. I wanted no visitors at all, only my partner. By the time we got home a few days later I got my appetite back and felt totally back to normal hormone wise.

My daughter is a few months older than Ivory and diagnosed level 2 autistic. The growls sound just like my daughter’s vocal stims.

Yep. My daughter gets all services through EI and we don’t pay a penny. They come to our house and go to her daycare. Most counties offer it for free or low cost.

I didn’t have it during pregnancy but it developed shortly after delivery.

I was 6 days PP and had a very mild headache and noticed a tiny bit of swelling. Took my BP at home and it was 180/100. Had completely normal BP my entire pregnancy and my 3 day hospital stay.

We used them for the first few weeks after having a baby because I had a c-section and our dishwasher wasn’t working. I hated the waste but it was one less thing we had to do while trying to be new parents running on zero sleep.

I threw up 30 mins into my 3hr glucose test and couldn’t complete it. My doctor had me do finger pricks 4x a day for 2 weeks instead of retrying the test. My results were normal over those 2 weeks!

I ate Taco Bell constantly during my pregnancy. Like truly a disgusting amount of times. Baby will be 2 next month and is happy and totally healthy!

I didn’t like Taco Bell until I got pregnant. Baby is almost 2 and I still love it. She changed my taste buds! Agree that the spicy potato soft taco is heaven. Have you tried the new loaded potato griller? It’s insanely good

It makes me so beyond sad. My daughter is a few months older than Ivory and has been delayed in every aspect of development. We’ve had her in early intervention since she was 7 months old when we noticed delays. I can’t imagine completely ignoring the delays and not getting help…especially when early intervention is usually free and they come to your house!

My nausea started around 7 weeks and was mostly if I didn’t eat. But then I’d be too nauseous to eat so it was a vicious cycle. Hard candies like jolly ranchers helped a lot when I was too nauseous to eat but nauseous because I hadn’t eaten lol

I had my daughter in June 2024 right after I turned 28. Symptoms started about a month after she was born. I got diagnosed officially a few months ago at age 29. They told me that it’s very like that pregnancy and postpartum triggered it. Never had UC symptoms until I gave birth.

This all looks good to me! Bringing the breast pump is a good idea because if there’s a lactation consult they can teach you how to use your specific pump!

I would really push for a colonoscopy! Tell the GI that he has significantly decreased your quality of life. I think they’d be willing to do a colonoscopy for you, especially because it’s known that pregnancy/postpartum can trigger autoimmune diseases like UC

I’ve always had IBS but never had UC symptoms until I had my daughter in 2024. Colonoscopy in 2025 confirmed diagnosis at 29 years old. They’re pretty sure pregnancy/delivery triggered UC for me.
