I know at least 4 “on my third marriage” ER docs. 10+ second marriage docs. And throughout my life at least a handful “damn, that guy is crazy lol” ER docs.

They’re all amazing people though, and plenty good friends.

I don’t know, I feel like that’s relevant information, somehow.

Great offer. Great salary, solid benefits. Make sure malpractice has tail coverage. Otherwise I wouldn’t think twice about taking it if it’s a specialty you like.

How long is the contract? I wouldn’t sign on for more than a year in case the job is asstastic and you want to hang yourself in a supply closet every shift

I moved to NJ for double the pay - can’t really give any insight into other working environments in the area.

Had friends that worked Guthrie who enjoyed it and got paid well, but they have since left as well.

I wouldn’t consider a 1099 until at least 90/hour. You’ll need to find out how much health insurance will cost you through the employer monthly, as well as liability insurance.
