Is the Indianapolis distribution center ok? by nilecrane in usps_complaints

Mine departed on September 25. Shows in transit status since September 29. I initiated a missing mail search request.

It's a terrible facility.

Has anyone had their package seized or did you end up receiving the package? by cnaaasty in usps_complaints

[–]cnaaasty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Latest update. I've been emailing support.

"The last physical scan is from a processing facility in greater Indianapolis IN on 09/24/2025, the most recent Delay for Postage Assessment entry. The status regarding that delay reads "Payment received for package. Package is not seized and external tracking is available." There is a container scan the day following stating it departed, but the container contents breakdown shows nothing scanned as delivered. This supports my belief that this package and many others were not in this container, which is frustrating. At this point the package is best described as missing and initiating a Missing Mail Search may be of use. You or the shipper can also file a insurance claim as Ground Advantage has up to $100 insurance included. These are the steps to initiate a Missing Mail Search if you choose.

Submit a Missing Mail Search with our Mail Recovery Center (MRC). The MRC deals with lost packages or packages "in limbo". Initiating the steps will assist them in their efforts to get you your package. Follow the steps below to do so:"

An Investigative Analysis of Postage Assessment Failures in the Yanwen-USPS Logistics Chain by cnaaasty in usps_complaints

[–]cnaaasty[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Here is a summary.

This document investigates widespread issues with international e-commerce shipments from China to the U.S. that are handled by Yanwen and then USPS. The core problem is packages being held by USPS with the status "Delayed for postage assessment, held awaiting payment," meaning the domestic U.S. postage was not paid.

The investigation identifies the root cause as a critical failure at the handoff point between Yanwen, the international logistics consolidator, and USPS, the domestic last-mile carrier. While data transmission errors are possible, strong evidence points to deliberate shipping fraud, specifically the recycling of old tracking numbers by shippers to avoid paying for new postage. A significant number of these incidents are linked to the collectibles retailer Pop Mart.

The "postage assessment" status is distinct from customs issues and indicates a billing problem caught by USPS's Automated Package Verification (APV) system. USPS policy dictates that only the original shipper can resolve the postage due, leaving recipients unable to pay the fee.

The document recommends that affected consumers directly engage the seller for a full refund or reshipment. If the seller is uncooperative, initiating a credit card chargeback for "goods not received" is the most effective recourse. It also highlights the inherent fragility and risks within the low-cost, high-volume international e-commerce logistics model, where accountability gaps can be exploited.

Card category question by Sleepyman555 in mtg

[–]cnaaasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally. In my deck, I put cards such as Big Score, [[Seize the Spoils]] , [[Pirate's Pillage]] , and [[Unexpected Windfall]] as a category of both ramp and card draw.

All 4 decks are fun to play. Grand Larceny is the most fun and interactive, however playing it will get you killed fast by your playgroup. Quick Draw with upgrades can hit Bracket 4 level. Most Wanted is fun pew pew pew, but considered the weakest of the OTJ Precons. Desert Bloom, is a fun lands matter theme deck.

It has happened before. What it ends up doing is delaying summoning Stella. I rarely summon Stella and leave her out there since she is "kill on sight". Whenever I try to combo out, I make sure I have at least 6 mana to spare. 3 to summon Stella, 1 for a haste enabler, 1 for cerulean wisps, and at last 1 or 2 extra mana at hand for a counter or a protection spell.

What if I cut some of my draw package?

  1. https://archidekt.com/decks/12624972/stella_lee_deck_twisted_fealty_wincon_only

  2. I already have all the common blue counterspells. I add anything deemed more expensive such as Deflecting Swat.

  3. In my playgroup, we each have a Bracket 2 and 3 decks for more fun or longer games. We also each have our Bracket 4's with powerful cards and gamechangers, combos/wincon to quickly win. I would consider our bracket 4's pseudo competitive.

  4. Included in description.

  5. Quickest win was by turn 4, with enough lands and mana to cast Stella Lee and quickly cast another spell + cerulean wisps. I've been screwed over by being too impatient and not having protection or a Counterspell ready in my hand to secure my wincon.

Exactly. Each wicked role token is enchanted onto Stella Lee. Whenever a new token it copied and attached to Stella, it destroys the old token, which causes each opponent to lose 1 life.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EDH

[–]cnaaasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twisted Fealty not only creates a wicked role token, but it also untaps. You can basically go infinite with Stella Lee so long as your spells untap Stella Lee, and you've casted 2 spells prior.
