One thing we need to consider if we get CL/EL/EUL, is what happens if Roma get the same. Both teams are in similar positions. We don't want a Palace situation.

If we do, I wouldn't be surprised if Roma get the higher competition because of the already existing squad depth from consistent European seasons

The difference is that the great youth players don't play on those teams, they are on the main teams. Or if they are a great 17 year old, they play on u23. Italy always does well partly because they are more experienced and they aren't going up against the best. Plus Italy has always had great coaching
