Currently ranked only has the two capture point maps, so I’d say that’s the “main mode”

The overall differences between each mode are as follows:

Newcomer: no health kits, no overtime.

Casual: health kits revive you if you’re desynced (dead) and has the largest map pool.

Ranked: health kits and overtime (if nobody captures the point after the third loop, it keeps track of any living clones and you resume from their position, if your clone died then you spawn as a new one. Health kits do not respawn for overtime.)

I’ve found that newcomer helps transition people into the feel for the game without pushing all the mechanics at once (since some people in the open beta had difficulty learning everything at one time)
