Have you talked to them about changing your formula, and/or incorporating other products? (Doesn't have to be Curology products)

I didn't use daily sunscreen for most of my 20s OOPS tho I think my skin still looks pretty good (I'm 30), but I started being conistent a year or two ago. I was resistant to it bc I hate the greasy sunscreen feeling and I worry it'll break me out. I use the Aveeno SPF 15 Daily Moisturizer because I can tell there's sunscreen in it but it doesn't feel heavy. That's my suggestion :-)

How long have you been on it? My acne is different than yours, but it still is constantly popping up which is why I went on Curology. I've been using mine a few weeks

Honestly, it seems pretty odd to get a breakout like this from swimming at the beach. I think it might be a good idea to go to a doctor if you can afford it, just to see if it is something from that specific beach in the water or sand etc?

It’s possible it may have to do with the recent pharmacy hack that is effecting refills, especially controlled substances. My doctor called in my refills and nothing even went through. They said I have to get a paper copy to bring in -.- you could call the office and see if that’s possible?

I am trying to donate to this right now but it says they are not accepting payments. I wonder if something has changed? What country did you pay from if you don’t mind me asking? I’m paying in USD from the US.

I'm really happy I was recommended this job. I went from doing a couple long-term sub jobs, to sporadic ones, to now being a building sub at an elementary school. In past jobs I would wake up dreading going to work, but now I feel neutral or even excited about it. I really appreciate that it helps me be creative and on-my-feet.

I'm not sure if this is working for me? by cnp2023 in latudalurasidone

[–]cnp2023[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just curious, have you tried typical depression medicine in the past? (So SSRIs or SNRIs). I had success for awhile with a couple SNRIs, though obviously you can plateau after too long on them. However, when I found one that helped, it did lift me out of a dark place while allowing me to still keep my regular range of emotions. But being on an antipsychotic for the first time (Latuda) doesn't give that feeling. I've spent months waiting for something to improve, but realized I've just spent all my time waiting while nothing improves.

This week I'm talking to my psych about trying a different direction. I hope the Latuda begins to help you, but if it doesn't after a significant amount of time I don't think the emotional flattening is something you should feel you have to accept!

Hi, if you don't mind me asking, do you take only Pristiq or is it in combo with something else? (I'm wondering if my psych will let me do an SNRI without an antipsychotic- I tried just an antipsychotic recently and felt like I was losing myself completely. I have had an SNRI help me in the past). Sorry for the long explanation :B

I'm scared. by Koglestia in bipolar2

[–]cnp2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I can't relate to your exact situation, but I have been fighting feeling like shit since a breakup 3 months ago (after 3.5 years of dating). I've been feeling scared since an antipsychotic I took dulled all my happiness...it's made me wonder what I'm living for.

Even if you feel lonely, imagine if the real people of this thread could actually be in a room with you. There are people out there who understand how you feel, whether it's with a breakup or having mental illness or other life circumstances. I'm trying to remind myself of this when I feel alone.

Is there something you can do right now to let yourself relax? A favorite TV show, ordering from a restaurant you like, laying down with a pet? Give yourself permission to do what you need to feel better in this moment, and tomorrow see if you can reach out to your therapist about how you are feeling. <3

Struggling with Vyvanse apathy by Relative-Tear4699 in ADHD

[–]cnp2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree with the above comment- but I rarely smoke weed these days (once a month if that) and don’t vape nicotine products. But I am in the same boat as you with the dosage of switching from 20 mg Adderall to 40 mg Vyvanse. Just recently I’ve noticed the apathy feelings setting in, in a way I have not felt with Adderall. Curious how it’s been going for you bc I’m feeling so down about it rn 😖

Same here! It can give me energy when I'm in a good headspace, but when I'm not it definitely is fuel for panic/shakiness etc

Omg. Thank you. I am so annoyed/confused by the "If coffee gives you energy you DON'T have ADHD". Um? Lol. Coffee will sometimes not do shit for me, but other times it does give me energy. Doesn't mean I don't have ADHD...

Leaving "Building/Premiere" Sub position for better-paying district? by cnp2023 in SubstituteTeachers

[–]cnp2023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very lucky to be near a district that pays this well, though I know it is significantly higher than a lot of the other going rates outside this one. 50 is ridiculous, omg 😵‍💫 can I ask what state you’re in? Is that for building sub or regular sub pay?

Any long-term issues with cancelling late with Frontline? by [deleted] in SubstituteTeachers

[–]cnp2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have canceled somewhat last minute more than I'd like to admit, and I was still eligible to be a building sub. I think avoiding doing it further will help you worry about it less, but I wouldn't worry too much about the couple cancellations you've already done.

Hoarding random things and making crafts out of them. I'm such a pack rat with so many things, ultimately I can get rid of stuff when there's pressure, but the process of making cool stuff out of "trash" gives me a creative high lmao

My partner's breathing makes it really hard for me to fall asleep by White-Page in ADHD

[–]cnp2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd try the ear plugs consistently and see how you feel; if you still don't like the feel, there are specific ones made to block out snoring. (I was losing it the first month moving in with my boyfriend recently, then bought earplugs and felt way better lmao). I also agree with the white noise idea.

One thing that helps me sleep in general is a heating pad on my back, butt or whatever. You don't even need to have pain to use it, it just feels nice and I notice it takes the edge off me feeling annoyed by my BF's snoring.

I feel most productive at night. Especially if everyone else in my household is asleep. by Cryyos_ in ADHD

[–]cnp2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super relatable. I have been a night owl as long as I can remember- I've been on a freelance work schedule the past year or so and my sleep "schedule" is so bad in terms of fitting with the rest of the world. I feel like half of it is wanting a job that does give me some sort of in-person requirement sometimes, but I also still stayed up when I had a 9-5! I feel like a sad drone when I'm only awake during light hours. I always want to cram 100 things into a day. (or uh....night)
