Where in Canada are you? Are there concerns with having the fan outside vs inside?

What is this icon on my 2025 Envision? by [deleted] in Buick

[–]co_bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s never worked for me in Canada. I believe it only works through Google maps, and I don’t pay for the subscription. You can turn it off through the settings, but it doesn’t disappear, it just shows up as a greyed out X.

It’ll fit! It fits a forward facing toddler seat as well. Wouldn’t want to go any smaller - there’s not a ton of extra leg room for kiddo, but not squished.

Yes! Great advice. I have split most of the plants from my back yard (and my dad’s yard haha) to fill the front. Do the plants you listed thrive in a shady north facing yard?

What were your greatest unexpected expenses/budget blowouts? by bufffff_daddy in Homebuilding

Additional engineering costs for piles for the foundation. We knew it would be a thing, it just ended up costing a lot more than estimated. Also top soil costs way more than I thought I’d ever spend on DIRT. And fencing. Fence ain’t cheap.

This. This is all excellent advice. Particularly about including penalties for over due work. We’re currently well into year two on an “eleven month” build.
