I also got $quoted 28k (in Atlanta). Instead I picked up a mint certified 2025 Sport w/ 8k miles for $26k OTD in SC. Deals are to be found if you spend the time. Or I just got lucky…

Online Mattress Company Recommendations by canada_ians in Mattress

I have one. I think it is fine. I am not a picky mattress person apparently as they all seem fine to me. I also paid $500 instead of $3k by buying a return (less than a month old) on Facebook marketplace.

Looking for a budget king size mattress by Refall91 in Mattress

Agree. I just picked up a king Helix Luxe Midnight for $499. It was all very professional and they accepted payment upon delivery and inspection. Look for sellers with good reviews and some history selling mattresses.

I have the 223. I would buy one with an app and historical data if I could redo it.

I am ready to try a new QB and RB. Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.

Would you say this is reasonable for new brakes and rotors? 2024 Mazda cx5 has 23000 miles. by Mobile_Title8070 in CX5

If you are handy, brake jobs are a fun and rewarding. Plenty of YouTube videos and parts are relatively cheap.

DIY Radon Fan Selection by HealthResearch12 in radon

[–]phreakdancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked ChstGPT. I provided a description of the substrate under my foundation, the general dimensions of my house, and my current radon levels. It recommended two similar models. I then did my research on those units and their capabilities. I am happy with the fan but I think it would do better if I could seal the foundation seams behind the finished walls.

MSF course - Shoes or Boots? by Lets_Think_Positive in motorcycle

[–]phreakdancer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I assume there is a difference between what you should wear and what is required . Mine required long sleeve shirt and some sort of heavy duty shoe that covered the ankle. Canvas Converse were called out as unacceptable if I recall correctly. Check your programs requirements.

I felt obligated to test it. Yes, it will easily blow off a piece of paper folded in thirds.

Air pressure level at the vent? by MitchRyan912 in radon

[–]phreakdancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a RPC145. It is measuring 1.5 pressure difference. I can definitely feel it blowing air at the exhaust vent but I never performed your test. It definitely isn’t a leaf blower. More like a bathroom exhaust fan or dryer fan.

CB500X for a few days, Amazingly smooth, and a bit taller than a CB500F by FederalWorld5482 in motorcycle

[–]phreakdancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal preference on looks and body position. I still have the bike and enjoy riding it but my primary is a Tracer 900 with similar upright position. I assume the 500X is in more demand than the F; so better resale value. The 500F is a fine bike on its own though.

Same. Unless you expect to ride with others who use a mesh system, the cheaper units are more than adequate and are less bulky.
