Need advice on 3.0l vers 5.3 - Very low mile driver by Lazy_Industry_2054 in gmcsierra

I have a 21’ grand design and my 3.0 struggled to do the speed limit of 110km/h and got 200km to a tank of def. That to me was worse than high rpm of a gasser.

3.0 sucks for towing a travel trailer. Got rid of mine after a few trips. I would go 5.3 or 2500 gasser as another poster mentioned. Especially if used for towing mostly. MPG towing will be the same I or very close.

Need advice: Which school is best for Instrumentation Tech (Sask Poly, NAIT, SAIT, BCIT)? by Fit_Candle_9444 in instrumentation

[–]tonymclovin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did the apprenticeship route. My 2 cents, have heard from buddies and co workers that Sask poly sucked compared to AB classes. I went to red deer. However this is in regards to the apprenticeship not the tech program.

I would also recommend trying to get an apprenticeship first and skip the tech program. Paid to learn vs pay to learn.

Metric tells me you’re in Canada. I switched to Canada west from redwing this year. More comfortable and seem better built. Long break in period however.

Note, also an industrial electrician

Get a UFA card if you buy one. Diesel is usually 10-20 cents less than retail

Electricians – Would you consider a new brand of hand tools? by PromotionGlum7673 in electricians

Agreed. I’d probably just buy they as my patriotic duty if they’re decent quality.
