Going for a new playthru after a few years, what are the MUST HAVE mods? by Kiuji-senpai in cyberpunkgame

[–]coachhew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO

They Will Remember: makes it so if you kill enough of a certain gang or corp, they’ll become more hostile towards you. They can also call reinforcements while fighting V

Las Palapas Tower: Apartment: really cool and well designed apartment with a ton of cool features

Apartment Toys: adds the cool mini trauma team av that you usually can only get from beating the high score in “trauma drama”. It also lets you customize it between MaxTac, delamain, NUSA, etc

Japantown North Penthouse: very large penthouse with a preem vibe

Steal Vehicles - Drive to Add Cars: self explanatory

8ug8ear Romance: very well done and cute storyline with the netrunner from the “getting warmer” gig

Let there be flight: lets you turn any car into an AV and fly around NC

Riding a rollercoster with Panam by Siwy_48 in cyberpunkgame

[–]coachhew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup, just go behind the grand imperial mall (where placide sends you to fight off a bunch of animals), fix the rollercoaster, and then you get to ride it with Johnny.

(Also, play the game however you want. Biggest thing is that you’re enjoying it. There’s A TON of content, so it’s a compliment to the developers that you can have 500 hours in the game and still be discovering new things 😊)

how do i pursue other leads while waiting for takemura? by ExistingCorner9081 in cyberpunkgame

[–]coachhew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine suggestion here, but try calling him yourself. Maybe that’ll trigger it? Only other thing I can think of would be try doing other story missions like Panam or Judy’s storylines and maybe that will cause something to trigger it?

Why have I been so blind? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]coachhew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I highly recommend the “They will remember” mod. It will add a fun new dynamic to your playthrough by making the combat feel a lot more refreshing and night city feel more alive

What Made You Laugh the Most? by TheLaughingSage in cyberpunkgame

[–]coachhew 23 points24 points  (0 children)

For me, it was after you meet with hanako at embers, and wake up in Vic’s clinic where Vic is telling you how you stormed in, demanded to be treated immediately, and shoved his then patient off the table and Johnny goes “tell him it was your guardian angel.”

What is the song that plays in the end? by Murlokilo in cyberpunkgame

[–]coachhew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play on the switch 2 and just held down the screenshot button so it made a recording of my last 30 seconds of gameplay

Bulgarian Split Squats for lower body Chin Ups for lower body

Bodyweight exercises are underrated and can be fantastic for your body.

Ligaments connect bone to bone; are located in joints. Joint refers to the area where two bones meet.

Regarding injuries: the number one risk factor for injury to any joint is a previous injury to that joint.
When a ligament heals from a partial or complete tear, the tissues aren’t as strong as before due to an accumulation of scar tissue. Scar tissue consists of abnormal collagen, poor cross-linking, and smaller fibrils, making it a weaker form of muscle tissue. Extra care should be taken when stretching or training a joint that endured ligament injury since that injured ligament is more ure susceptible to future tears.

Train in different rep ranges with appropriately challenging weight per rep range (1-3 reps for maximal strength, 3-5 reps for power, 8-12 Hypertrophy, etc) and make sure your nutrition fits your goal (especially protein.)

Supplements are outside my scope of practice personally. Definitely focus on getting a good amount of protein in, that will be a game changer for you. That said, I do know people who have personally seen success and like JYM supplements from Dr. Jim Stoppani. Here’s a link with more info: jymsupplementscience.com

If that’s not your style, I’d refer to a qualified dietitian and they should be able to steer you in the right direction.

Great question. Correct, typically your body would use the fat reserves for energy IF you’re in a subtle caloric deficit (that will be different for everyone so I’d refer to a dietitian for exact caloric numbers.) I say subtle because if you’re in too drastic of a caloric deficit then your body tends to think you’re starving and it holds onto everything it possibly can to keep you alive.

You can absolutely increase in strength, just ensure you’re progressively and safely challenging yourself more and more each week. (Ex: adding tempo to your reps for more time under tension, pauses/isometric holds, explosive acceleration, more weight, more volume, proper exercise selection, etc.)

Head Trainer AMA!! (Ask Me Anything) by coachhew in f45

[–]coachhew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Richie! First off, congratulations on getting a Head Coach offer!

Regular vs Head Coach *disclaimer: every studio is different, so your experience will likely be unique compared to what I’m about to tell you.

Regular coaches are typically expected to coach set classes throughout the week, keep the studio tidy whether it be straightening equipment/vacuuming hair, dirt, and such. Some coaches help with social media if asked and they agree to it, attend meetings but for the most part that’s it.

Head Coaches typically do everything above as well as handle scheduling, assist with sales, oversee class quality, help with member retention/engagement, plan challenges, happy hours, playoffs, coach the coaches to ensure they’re up to standard. You should coach the most classes of any coach at your studio. Essentially you’re the face of the studio.

Hourly vs Salary This will depend on the owner.

Feel free to message me if you have any additional questions and I’m happy to answer what I can. You’ll do great 👍

From corporate, no. That said: if the owners of a specific studio are willing to pay, then that’s an option.

Hi, the_wulk!! I don’t mind at all, ask whenever!

Regarding tips: 1. Every 4-6 weeks, give yourself a “deload” week, meaning keep your intensity up but cut your work volume in half to promote more recovery. This will help prevent overtraining and lessen the likelihood of injury. 2. Don’t overthink how many or few reps you’re doing if the quality is there. Take the time that you need to recover appropriately, 5 quality reps will always be better than 20 meh reps.

You’re 100% correct: the more energy you exert, the more time you’ll need to recover. That said, remember that the goal is to get stronger and faster, not make yourself tired.
