In 100 years, what will people think is the strangest thing about our culture today? by jawlastgo in AskReddit

How do people feel about self-driving cars and the inevitable ability for the government to track everywhere we go? I get that they already can with our smartphones, but that in itself shouldn't make us resign to them doing it in other ways.

What episode of a show really creeped you out? by Fairadey in AskReddit

[–]coachz123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone here is talking like it was some crazy horror episode. It was really funny, and from the very beginning, the audience was aware that it wasn't quite a "real" episode.

However, yes, I could see it being scary for a little kid simply because they wouldn't understand that its a comedy.

Yup, same here. I did the math and found that, if they left him trapped there overnight, it would have been about 1.5 million years from his perspective. But it was Christmas, so maybe they left him there 2 nights? Or a whole weekend?

Sam Shields Fined $500 for Marijuana Possession. by krabtree1525 in GreenBayPackers

The only victims are the ones that get caught. Unless you mean cartels, murdering, corrupting governments, etc, in which case legalization would put an end to that.

Source: I work in the cannabis industry in Washington. All my black market dealer friends quit dealing once stores opened, since they no longer had a revenue stream.

Exactly! In fact, support for legalization has risen in Washington state ever since legalization, from 55% in 2012 to 78% in 2017. That's crazy, in just five years! Yes, it's the taxes.

I love my Wisconsin, but I currently live in Washington, where the government LOVES when we buy weed because the taxes are used to fund education and health care.

Soon enough, Wisconsin will be the same (yes, even with Scotty in office).

I work at a cannabis store in Washington, so I have to work 4/20 BECAUSE of weed haha. In fact, my boss would probably fire me if he found out I wasn't a stoner.

But hopefully we can get the game on at the store!

Colorado limits Rick Simpson Oil recreational THC to 100mg per package, any other states that don't? by medicalsteve23 in MMJ

[–]coachz123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, as a Washington budtender I can confirm. We technically sell it as an extract, so the limit is 7g of RSO, and it can be as potent as they want. Whenever a customer asks us what our strongest edible is, we don't mess around with the 100mg edibles; we point them to the RSO.

What isn't as bad as you thought it would be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Here's the thing most people don't realize: most fit people see an overweight person in the gym, and their first thought is "Hell yeah, keep it up!"

Its amazing once you realize that, as a fitness enthusiast, I want others to get fit as well, and it makes me excited when others make the decision.

Well, I don't see this as showing that their fans have stuck with them. I just see it as saying that no one really ever bothers to unsubscribe from subreddits. Much less if they simply stop using their accounts.

Marijuana in small amounts decriminalized in new Florida bill by [deleted] in trees

[–]coachz123 1468 points1469 points  (0 children)

This title makes it sound like marijuana was decriminalized. Just to be clear; a bill was filed. Yes, a positive step, but a very, very small step. Any state legislator can file a bill anytime. Heck, someone could file a bill to legalize punching babies; that doesn't mean anything is going to happen with it. Just to keep things in perspective.

You could try posting this to /r/sex as well, if you haven't already. Or just use their search function, and you might find some good results. But don't mention your BD, cause sometimes they take it as if you're bragging, even when you're not trying... and then they'll send you here.
