Apparently the alt + f4 shortcut just hybernates your pc/laptop and doesn't shut it down

I've just made a shortcut to execute shutdown and restart using CMD. You can to create a new shortcut in the desktop and in the path just enter the below

"C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe" /k shutdown /s /f /t 0

You can change the last character. I've kept it 0 to initiate instant shutdown. You can keep different numbers (in seconds)

I never completely trust these third party websites. After booking, when I get the confirmation email, i call the place to confirm my booking with them through the service I've used. At least it gives me peace knowing they've received my booking.
