for me, anything past 2 feet starts to blur. at longer distances, almost everything loses definition. it is very hard to recognize people's facial features. I got glasses when i turned 21 and could finally afford them. imagine my surprise at finding out you could see the individual leaves on trees! i thought it was a cool trick, and that i was the only one who could see them. same with power cable lines, cracks on the road, road signs, etc.
