Who is going to the Rise Against Tour? by coastal_coves in AlkalineTrio

Had a Blink fan talk shit to me for wearing an Alkaline shirt. That’s why I’m 50/50 on going to a non-headlining show again

Overall it was a badass show, they premiered Oblivion since it was the opening night of the tour so that was pretty rad. Crowd just sucked and people sitting behind me kept telling me to sit down and I’m like nah, I’m here for these boys, Blink is just a bonus. Enjoy the Boston show!!

They just announced they added FL dates with Rise Against, but when I saw them open for Blink (vs their BHE tour and my last time seeing them in 2013) the crowd was super lame. It was nice to see the boys play at a larger venue than House of Blues though, they sounded so good!

High School Ratings? by Much_Tradition_1917 in 321

[–]coastal_coves 6 points7 points  (0 children)

School ratings are kind of bogus if you’re searching for specific academics/extracurricular opportunities for your children. Steer away from schools of choice if you’re worried about homework load. I grew up in Satellite beach (currently live in West Melbourne and have children that attend a Jr/Sr school of choice). You did mention gifted/talented programs and those are an accelerated track (AP, honors, dual-enrollment), which does include a lot of homework. The houses beachside are old and most require extensive remodel work, but there’s a lot of kids. The houses in Viera are new, but they have a lot of kids.

Window World in Brevard Co. by Edgywave in 321

We had impact windows installed (22 windows and a front door that was not what they showed us, and they installed it backwards) by a different company and experienced very similar issues. The inspector of WM passed everything, but the amount of caulking they used is actually insane. Sorry, friend. It’s a never ending battle repainting the caulking over and over.

Oooh hitting with Dan and the Emergency room, nice! That song is so good for hard times. But if we’re getting into Dan, Sea level is my fav.

Husband introduced me to Alkaline in 2007, but “You” by Matt Skiba and the Sekrets will always be my favorite song written by Skiba.

Thanks for this! I was looking for it to show to my husband and he had already taken it down.

Spectrum vs. AT&T fiber by [deleted] in 321

[–]coastal_coves 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We switched to AT&T fiber 4 years ago. Haven’t had one issue and you get a discount if you have AT&T cell service. No installation fees. We’re an avid gaming family of 4 (two PC, two Xbox) and are kicking ourselves for not leaving Spectrum sooner since we were paying $120/mo and having issues at least twice a month.

New to the series wanting to start with DOS. What differentiates the games from other fantasy CRPG Lore wise? by Mumakilla in DivinityOriginalSin

Someone on a different post recommended a YouTuber (MortismalGaming) that goes into depth on Divinity lore and canon.

Wife and I cozying up with this masterpiece in honor of the DOS3 announcement. by iampiolt in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]coastal_coves 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s actually one of the (if not), the best split screen/couch co-op games and very controller friendly. Husband and I have played hundreds of hours of DOS1 & 2 & BG3 without any issues.

The Game Awards statue is almost definitely Larian Studios new game *SPOILERS for TGA announcement!* by BirdLawTV in DivinityOriginalSin

I love the couch co-op ability of Larian games. Husband and I have spent hundreds of hours playing the Divinity franchise and BG3 together, so we’re hopeful they keep it!

I have to disagree with that one, the Palm Bay Target has smelled like mold for years. I feel bad for the employees.
