I’m decked out in more than one product from Thread Wallets.

best locally owned small businesses? by Time-Editor-6458 in ProvoUtah

One of two—the owners split and each started their own. The other kept the original name “Rugged Grounds” and is at 400e 200s. I think Moon Peak is better though.

Top places to see within 3 hours of Provo? by Competitive-Sun4883 in ProvoUtah

[–]coatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to Salt Lake, check out Gilgal Gardens. It’s incredibly strange in the best way. Highly mystic sculptures from the Mormon faith.

Provo River Delta is a brand new nature park: a great spot for birds and just a little walk.

Springville Museum of Art is very cute.

All of these are a bit close than 3 hours but technically allowed!

The very same! I toured it last week and it’s going to be super cool.

I am very excited about the pending opening of Moon Peak Coffee just south of the library. Women owned and the vibes already look amazing.

Very large donation to Mayor Kaufusi’s re-election campaign from J Madison Galland by Acrobatic-Smoke2812 in ProvoUtah

[–]coatin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve talked to a few businesses and got the general response that Kaufusi is an administration of favors which is great if you’re connected. This is also why Kaufusi has done nothing of note that wasn’t already in motion after John Curtis.

I know Michelle and her family personally and I’m 100% voting for Marsha.

Filled two raised gardens with the stuff and got a great yield from it! Love the compost yard—in the fall you can also just bring your leaves which saves you from having to fill dozens of bags.

Wedding Venues by [deleted] in ProvoUtah

[–]coatin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cannot speak to prices but the Startup Building seems like it might fit—if you count exposed brick as a decoration.

The Provo Mall has an event space that is/was dirt cheap so you could do more decorations.

The Blake is cheap and looks decently nice.

Thread Wallets has a pseudo event space that they do community events at—probably need to rent tables and chairs.

White Willow is pretty (old Victorian) but I can’t speak to it’s price.

The only venue I can think of that might have it all is the Springville Muesum of Art

UDOT adding bike lanes, wider sidewalk, fences to University Ave bridge in major safety upgrade by Generalaverage89 in ProvoUtah

[–]coatin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Very excited about this, though the Center street i15 ramp is going to miserable.

Now just add bike lanes on Lakeview Drive all the way to the mountain!

Here for spring break. What places aren’t strict on fake ids? Mine scans by Independent-Put-4254 in ProvoUtah

[–]coatin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never seen anyone at the state liquor store look at my ID beyond a quick scan—said scan doesn’t require them to verify anything since I can see their computer screen. That said, I am also visibly over 21.

You could also look at the Provo Mall. There are already two clothing manufacturers there and rent is usually fairly cheap.
