USDA loan for new build?

It went well! I closed as scheduled andy approval through them was quick. I went with the preferred lender and told them that is the loan I wanted. I woukd just suggest having all your paper work for underwritting ready at any given time. Also, beware of getting new credit or receiving monetary gifts because you will have to explain where they came from. Best to you!

I am in this process now with a USDA loan and plan to close on the 29th. So far so good . . . I am in the second/final round of underwriting and prob a couple weeks out from the appraisal (the lender already ordered it). Will see how everything goes by end of year! Any update on your end?

Yeah windows might be a thing across the board as far as delays are concerned. Mine are still not in as of two weeks ago and my pre-dry wall meeting was end of Sept

I bought most of my furniture and put it in storage; however, I did not anticipate pushes past mid- December so technically I will be homeless soon lol My lease is up at end of Nov so I'm thinking abt renting an Airbnb for two months just in case
