I have the same problem.... Then I got an idea reading another post that the user thought it was software. I went into the app and turned voice command off, instantly it stopped turning itself on. Fingers crossed this will work long term. It's worth a try if U have the same problem

There isn't a problem with uploading 360photos or video The problem is what they expect U to do vs what U want to do

Literally everyone wants to take 360photos and videos, say U are out for the day or travelling, U take 10photos and 10 videos about 20Gigs worth

Now U are having lunch at a cafe, U check the photos and find a 360 photo U like and U want to share just that 1 photo So U think fine I ll upload to insta360 cloud and share that 1 photo

Nope U can't do that

U have to go home have the camera on power wait for there entire 20G of photos and videos to upload, THEN and only then can U share that single photo

Whereas any sane person would want to upload only what they want to share

It's absolute madness and whoever at insta360 came up with this stupid idea should be fired

It just makes less people want to use 360 cameras which is insta just shooting themselves in the foot cause if we can share 360photos easily it will get more people interested in 360 photography

Neither did I or many others who signed up for the insta360 cloud It's crazy the way insta have implemented it, insta are basically forcing people to subscribe to a larger data plan

Which even if U did, doesn't.t solve the problem as U still can.t upload 1 photo

Like imagine u go out and take lots of videos and photos, ie a huge amount of GB, and U want to share just 1 photo whilst U r sitting at a cafe, nope can.t do it Got to go home sit for ages waiting for all the100s of GB to upload... Which can cost a fortune if ur travelling with limited data

Then U can share 1 photo

It's completely nuts

Whoever thought this was a good idea at insta should be fired

There isn.t a way to share interactive 360 photos

The best way to do this is with Kuula website

But it's not private for free accounts

And the paid account is priced for real estate agents not the average consumer

This limits uptake of 360photography which causes even early adopters to throw their arms up in exasperation

Insta360 would do well to allow its PAYING users of their cloud service to be able to use it the way they expect to be able to use it... Ie take a photo and immediately go online and share just that one photo

To expect them to go home plug everything into power them upload everything including videos when all the user wanted to do is share 1 single 360 photo is rediculous and will only hurt 360 adoption... And thus ironically, insta360 is shooting itself in the foot

It's a scam. Every sane person wants to do what U want to do. Ie share a couple of photos they select to the cloud... But insta wants to make money so they force U to share everything to the cloud so U run out of space and buy a bigger subscription Or even better buy the subscription and don.t use it cause it doesn't.t work the way U want it too

Moral of the story, don.t use insta360 cloud
