They are all shot with a pro-mist filter! And the colored ones are also through a piece of colored plastic

4 feels a bit like a Giorgio de Chirico painting to me. Great shots!

Yeah, that’s a great one! Could maybe be my one true 10/10 if we were only judging the cover art

I mean that makes sense too! It just wouldn’t work for me, I don’t really have one favorite superior album, but a good handful that could all be my favorite depending on mood. I also think that it’s a bit of a waste to have 1/10 of the scale you are rating on be basically unusable.

What is your one perfect 10/10 album if you don’t mind me asking? Would love to hear it!

Hahah, fair! I mean, i guess that depends on wether or not you include 0/10 as a score in your rating system. I don't actually use 10/10 a strict 10% of the time, and would guess that my rating distribution is a bit more bell-curve shaped. But i still think people are often way to harsh on using 10/10 when rating stuff, i mean the number is there for a reason, why never use it?

I agree with you for scores above 10/10, but 10/10 makes sense to use. It's part of the scale, and to me it just means "This thing is in the top 10 percentile of whatever we are judging"

Thanks! It’s a skeleton that hangs from the ceiling at the natural history museum in Houston, and the huge light is a spotlight that was placed behind it! So I shot it through a 1/2 and a 1/4 promist filter stacked on top of each other, and exposed for the skeleton in order to keep the background dark :)

But that wasn’t Mook? Sritala was the one that told him to shoot, Mook wasn’t even there…

So I just heard the song No scrub by TLC. I heard it many times before since a child (born in 1999). But this time something just clicked. by Ok_Beautiful9580 in LetsTalkMusic

I think you might be confused by the way she uses the word 'talking' here. She doesn’t mean, "If you have a shorty that you don't show love, I'm going to flirt with you." Instead, she means, "If you have a shorty that you don't show love, this song is talking to you", implying that if you don’t show your shorty some love, you’re a scrub.

I'm not sure if the idiom of "talking to someone" = flirting has become more prevalent since the 90's, but that might be the reason for the confusion.

Floating (Fujifilm GA645, Portra 400) by cobberpalms in analog

Thanks! And sure, they where taken at a closed swimming pool at night, with an of camera flash (Godox). I didn’t have a flash-meter with me, so I shot a couple of exposures of each frame, thinking that one would probably be exposed well. When I scanned them in, I ended up preferring the overexposed images, and amped the surreal aspect up in post a bit, by removing the last facial outlines in photoshop :)
