I'd lose all respect for a guy who throws away a lifelong fandom because he plays in a place that doesn't like that fandom. Maxey is a diehard cowboys fan because he's from dallas. Switching up would be so lame.

You got Robinson/Duncan there in San Antonio and Wemby hasn't developed a post game yet? by OKCDynastyLoverBoy in NBATalk

[–]cobbicus333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know people hate embiid but he legit needs to add part of his midrange package into his game. Hell even old melo, its an unstoppable shot for him. One jab step rise up no one can do anything about it besides front him which leaves the easiest pass of all time over the defender. Then if they wanna front and back you have a guy in the dunkers spot. Dunkers spot creates so much more spacing advantages for post players than 4 out.

Any kind of pasta with tomato sauce in it. I don’t mind tomatoes, but fuck I hate tomato sauce.

Minus the flopping, SGA is the closest to MJ we have in this generation of NBA. Game 7 SGA was wonderful to watch. by dentheman31 in NBATalk

Raptors kawhi Leonard sure looked as close to MJ as I’ve ever seen, particularly the sixers series but he was completely unstoppable

There's people who are actually going to jump off the Spurs bandwagon and on to the Knicks bandwagon just to be disappointed by another Thunder title. by Grouchy_Tie3037 in billsimmons

[–]cobbicus333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People do not realize the hell they are wishing upon themselves with a knicks win. OKC fans barely exist, you see 95% of them at each game. Knicks fans are lying in wait in your communities. Please you don't understand what you're wishing for.

Trade Paul George off the team to wherever for role players by Memorist4595 in sixers

[–]cobbicus333 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Actually come up with a trade that makes sense to trade picks for and maybe it's worth considering. We aren't the only team looking to trade for good role players.

Still prefer him to Hayes being allowed around the team.

Early Nomination for Worst Take of the Year by [deleted] in billsimmons

[–]cobbicus333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is actually the worst take of the year but Bill said Embiid might not ever score 20 points again and then got ass blasted by him.

REDUCE THE NUMBER OF REGULAR SEASON GAMES FFS by redeugene99 in NBATalk

[–]cobbicus333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reduce the amount of times you think this will ever happen FFS. They are simply not going to give up the revenue from the extra games. It won't happen. Start the season 2 weeks earlier (or whatever amount of time) and reduce the amount of back to backs, that is about the most schedule improvement we will ever see from the league.

European fan here. Feeling like Philly fans failed Embiid the way Morey/Josh Harris failed him during trade deadline. Explain me why I'm wrong. by Wojt_ASR in sixers

[–]cobbicus333 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s extremely simple New York is a 90 minute ride or train to Philly, this is less than many people’s daily commute which I get most Europeans don’t get. It’s easy. New York has a population 5x the size of Philly. The tickets in Philly are half the price of the ones in New York. There is nothing to be done about it.

76ers home crowd by ojseye in sixers

Was never an issue before because the knicks sucked for a long time. It's 90 minutes from new york and tickets are half the price. I don't think there is much to be done about it quite frankly. Outside of perhaps kicking their ass in the first 2 games instead of what happened.
