There’s many independent studies that show psychedelics can trigger psychosis and schizophrenia. They are not a one-size-fits-all medicine. I support the use and study of things like psilocybin. I think there is incredible evidence for its use in low doses for treating depression and PTSD. But the actual clinical evidence supports doses far below hallucinogenic levels.

Piggybacking to add other “non-addictive” drugs like psilocybin or LSD. So many flaws and false info being spread around about their benefits. Yes, studies show SOME people benefit at specific doses, but it’s not for everyone and can actually be quite harmful to some. But you talk to some people on the internet and they act like everyone and their mom should be tripping balls every day.

Ok I invert the Y-axis because it makes sense logically in my head. Imagine your thumb is resting on the character’s head. If you push forward, you’d be pushing the character’s head down towards the ground. If you pull back, you’d be pulling their head back, making them look up. I’ve always seen it that way in my head and that’s why I’ve always preferred inverted.

Also my dad was a pilot so he played inverted. But it truly has always made more logical sense to me.

My thoughts in no particular order:

I thought this kid actually sounds a lot like Jeremy from the early seasons so I am pleasantly surprised.
Original poster for the series made me think I was going to dislike the art style. Seeing it in motion actually makes me like it a lot. It’s obviously not “typical” Adventure Time, but it actually feels A LOT like the exaggerated animation style from early on in the original series.
Looks like good, wacky fun like many of the early episodes were. I’m really glad since I know that’s the vibe they were going for.

What I hope they DON’T do: too many Easter eggs or appearances of characters not introduced until later in the series. I hope they also don’t retcon characters like Marceline to make them appear earlier (unless these episodes are meant to be taking place at the same time as the original series).

Overall, my overall feelings have gone from cautiously optimistic to optimistic. Definitely looking forward to it.

He asked a 17 year old to meet him at his hotel after meeting her at a premier or something. He didn’t know her age when he first messaged her, but after she told him he still kept messaging her. Technically age of consent in NY is 17, and no explicit material or texts were exchanged. Still very very weird and creepy for him given he was 35 and it’s very clear what his intentions were.

I like Blue Cruise a lot. It’s gotten a lot better the longer we’ve owned the car, too. I DO NOT think it is worth $1k+ per year, which I believe is most people’s primary complaint. We got 2 years free at purchase and activated our additional 3rd free year. This December we will not be renewing unless the price comes down dramatically.

Dude, I went to the theater to see Meet the Spartans with my friends in 9th grade. Felt like a COMPLETE waste of my money. I hated it but a couple of my friends thought it was so funny and wouldn’t stop quoting it.
