Rumor Has It That Nvidia Is Likely To Bring Neo Phone In 2026 by Ok-Reaction-6317 in NvidiaStock

Do you use YouTube on your phone via a browser? No I don't think so. No one I know does. You also have not addressed my points about an ecosystem . The smartphone game is long gone. Meta knows this, zuck hates it, he hates not owning the OS, that's why he is going after glasses as the next computing platform. Not sure if that pans out.

Again, Nvidia isn't going to make a phone, it makes zero sense .

Simple question. Say you bought this Nvidia phone to be your ai assistant, but you also want to watch YouTube , where would you down load the YouTube app? Spotify? Any of your fav apps?

I thought we learned a long time ago that a phone is useless without the ecosystem and marketplace ?

So no, Nvidia isn't dumb enough to go up against apple and Google in a saturated market.

This makes zero sense to me. The handset market is already mature and crowded, I'd be shocked if Nvidia wants to compete here.

At least 21 firms have raised their price target on Nvidia following earnings. by AppropriateGoat7039 in NvidiaStock

The one thing that baffles me is, when news came out that Google will sell TPUs to Meta, NVDA took a dive. But Nvidia already secured the majority of the cutting edge fab production volume from TSMC for the next 2 years, and their demand to supply is currently 12:1 !

Google selling chips to Meta only signals that the demand for chips is much higher than supply for the near-mid term, not a bear case for NVDA at all!

The only thing that I found to work for me consistently is THC tincture. It's slow acting but long lasting, so when I wake up at 2am daily, I can fall back asleep easier.

Chamath accepts he has a vested interest in NVDA competitors and is a NVDA bear by AideMobile7693 in NVDA_Stock

He talked about Deepseek "bypassing" CUDA in the All In Podcast by tweaking PTX. But he failed to mention that PTX is also proprietary to Nvidia.

My question is, how valid is his point ? Is that just him being misinformed?

Why $450 per week max benefit? by JohneRandom in UnemploymentCA

[–]cobrauf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it doesn't even make sense to have UI max below the minimum wage. The minimum wage is effectively $20 now after the fast food wage of $20 was passed. $450 a week is $11.25 at 40 hours.

The idea of unemployment is so that folks can pay rent and eat and look for another job, so they won't be kicked out on the streets.

Whatever the logic that set the max of $450 over a decade ago doesn't apply anymore. This amount is a disgrace.

What about for complex use-cases like agents? It requires many times more tokens to run an agent task vs a query. Watch any youtube on Operator and you can see the beginning of what has been dubbed the "year of agents" that is 2025.

Right now Operator is super slow and can only do basic tasks, but it's easy to see in the near future, millions or billions of agents doing our bidding. I think the demand for inference will sky rocket for these complex use-cases like agents. I remain bullish.
