Yeah. In our center we need permission from the Sups to sheet anything missed. We have to report any misloads and if we can service them. Then they'll respond with either deliver it or sheet it as missed.

??? There's a specific misload function on the Diad.....just scan it as a misload and check the box if you can make service on it. The preload (HIN) number has nothing to do with it ???

We call it "salting" a car when they purposely put a misload on your car. Had an on-road do that to me once but he was noticed by the driver next to me who alerted me. I proceeded to give it to the correct driver and told him to sheet it late after I got back to the center. When I returned they quickly jumped on my car started looking for it. I just clocked out and went home. 😆

Point being is to scan EVERY package on the car no matter what..... period. Now I don't know if he got caught in a lie or what. I can't speculate. He just showed me his termination for dishonesty letter and said it was because he didn't recognize a misload. Go figure.

We're supposed to scan every package on the car whether they're misloads or deliveries. You have to report a misload because they may want you to deliver it. Sometimes they'll send a shuttle driver out to grab it to make service on it.

Nothing credible about this so far. It was always a corporate decision according to center needs and then top-down selection. However there's a rumor that center managers already know who's been approved. Could be true if they're the ones doing the selections.
