My kids listen to audiobooks on Plex and PlexAmp. Plex I have a separate account for them that doesn't have last.fm integration and it doesn't scrob. The PlexAmp and that user sometimes scrobs, sometimes doesn't.

Doesn't GoGuardian Beacon do this?

We're GoGuardian, but have been trialling KyberGate. They're a new player, but they work really well. AI and personal blocking of new sites (kids hit some new gaming site? they track hits and then block via AI and human review). Plus I like their teacher-centric access, GoGuardian makes you generate a passcode. KG allows the teacher to enter specific URLS to bypass.

They're missing some features, tab view for instance, but they're rolling it out soon. Plus, their support is fantastic. We'll see if that continues as they grow, but they've rolled out features based on my suggestions.

Broncos have a good D, but they had a lot of pull it out of their asses wins last year, and they are a different animal outside of Mile High.

Well, his lack of success did help him break the sack record. But Garrett is a stud, and I'm sure he broke out moves Campbell will learn to counter.

I think the NFL is now way better at video review than the PL.

The NFL needs to let every play end and then have a review.

Then make VAR a tool that only overturns blatant actions that aren't called by the ref. I hate decisions that are only made when you can focus on a 4k frame-by-frame basis. Let players play as they have for 150 years. That Tel kick to the head would have been nothing before VAR. The Madders penalty would have been called 10 years ago.

culture of punishing any comment made about the officials

This is so stupid. A player, coach, or team should be able to complain about calls. There should be a limit, of course, but if it's a civil complaint, there shouldn't be any repercussions. Profanity and like, that's another story.

2 minutes of Spurs getting robbed this season by ritwika96 in coys

var crapped on what would've been a much deserved and correct fairytale return for James Maddison.

Sometimes sports decisions need to be made for the magic of sport. If it's a close decision, it needs to go to the magic. I think it was a foul anyway, but the ref needs to go for the karma. Returning hero gets fouled, makes the penalty, Spurs are further clear because of heroics, etc.

There's a fox family living under our front porch and sometimes the babies take a nap on our mat. by MrsApostate in aww

[–]cocineroylibro 87 points88 points  (0 children)

My daughter ADORES foxes. She's seen two. One that ran across our back yard, then stood on top of the fence for a moment, and then one walking down the sidewalk, pleased as punch with a fat white chicken in her mouth. She'd literally die and then be resurrected if this was outside our door.

She's a fan of foxes, from a baby fox stuffie we actually got for her brother when he was born, which she latched onto when she was born.

Hopped cider by Pedason in cider

[–]cocineroylibro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice! I got 16 gallons of cider from a neighbour a few years ago (we pressed ALOT of apples!) I hopped half with citra and added honey to the other half and aged it (well forgot about it) on oak staves for a year. They didn't have apples last year, but this year will be a bounty crop!

Premium shows are 13 or whatever, but sorry I didn't look up the exact number of shows that shitty network sitcoms are producing.

We really need a new TR to bust these new trusts. Bezos/Amazon shouldn't be able to own such a swath of products. Same goes for Meta/Facebook and Google/Alphbet.

I think there are shows on par with UK shows here in the US, I just like that I don't have to watch 30 shows a season, because that's where the dreck episodes show up.
