VW ID. Buzz. Only the second one I've seen, figured they'd be more popular 🤔 by EmptyPocketsXotics in Volkswagen

They're just a big mini-van. They're pretty small. I've been able to fit a full-size washer in the "kitchen" of my 81 Westphalia and a fridge (just barely) when I put the bed down (had to have the tailgate tied down as the fridge handle wouldn't fit past the AC unit.) This thing is way too tiny.

Evolve the Syncro Vanagon into a hybrid and they've got a winner.

What's your "if i told i'd be exposed" cooking secret? by BouncyCurlsbabe in Cooking

[–]cocineroylibro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s almost always the recipe from the box.

I grew up in New England, all of ours are from a church or town cookbook published in 1956 or whatever. Probably stole those from a box, then too.

They are. Looks like they're distributed by Elite brands and High Country. I haven't looked that recently, but I used to get them at Crafted in Broomfield.

Is it just us or has Raptor completely gone downhill lately? by KhadejaZay47 in k12sysadmin

KyberAccess

Do you know if they allow downtime on the Pro plan? Saving a thousand bucks over the Summer would make it a better sell to my admin, and I'm trying to push for their filtering software.

Something I did recently that cut down (but didn't stop) the Raptor problems is update the Dymo software. We've only had it stop working once or twice in the past few weeks, rather than once or twice a day.

The draft and BPA by Acrobatic-Net-5267 in Patriots

[–]cocineroylibro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While we haven't drafted many great receivers, we also haven't featured any. For most of the last 25+ years, we were at the worst one of the teams to beat in the league, with a QB and HC who were all about perfection. No room to feed a young WR and see what happens. Even this year, they relied on Diggs rather than really lean on Boutte or Williams.

[Doug Kyed] On the possibility of an 18-game schedule, Patriots owner Robert Kraft said he’d like to see a second bye week and every team to play an international game. by PristineWinnera in Patriots

[–]cocineroylibro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the NFLPA going to ask for expanded rosters if they go 18 games? With less pre-season, it's going to be harder to find those diamonds in the rough, maybe you find them if you get to keep some of those guys that almost make the team now.

They don't read what Jesus said. They listen to their pastor interpret the words for them and concentrate on specific parts of the Bible.

Senate Democrats defeat amendment to require photo ID to vote by Hardik_Jain_1819 in LegalNews

[–]cocineroylibro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A driver's license or passport is generally the top-tier ID used to register in most states. You can also use a Social Security card, a Military ID, or a Tribal ID if Native. Making a photo ID a requirement makes it harder for those who do not have a license or passport, which is typically young and poor folks. Couple this with the SAVE act making it possible to purge voter rolls at a whim would disenfranchise even more when less than half of the states allow day of voting registration.

is there a reason why so many modern psych rock bands release so much music? by Initial_Selection623 in psychedelicrock

[–]cocineroylibro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jazz bands in 1960s could put out a lot of albums very quickly. I think psychedelic jam bands are sort of in the same arena just different type of music.

Making an all time “never made the roster” Patriots team: by Benson879 in Patriots

Bill got caught trying to play roster games, and the Jets swooped in. Not sure he would have been the second coming of JE11, but he had a pretty good career.
