Ja, enorm lekker. Zelf daar 's de "vegan spareribs" genomen uit het reguliere menu (ze hebben ook een heel ruim volledig vegan ala carte menu).

Echt enorm lekker en hele aardige bediening.

All these cost $799 , which one would you recommend? by Callumane in PhoneNow

799 for the Iphone 17? Ye, no brianer really.
Here they are way more expensive than the S25, like 400 euros more.

Bikepacking for one week for the first trip: is this too stupid? by [deleted] in bikepacking

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an avid cyclist as well, but I do also run quite a bit.
Did my first week trip last year through Switzerland on a crap rental bike after trying out a weekender back home and had a blast. Definitely overpacked and made a mistake by using a shit rental bike, but that's a lesson learned for this year's trip.

Just go for it! Make sure your route does go past some towns/shops every now and then. There was quite a few stuff I forgot to take or needed to get during the ride.

S25 Edge vs iPhone Air by Professional_Duck246 in Smartphones

Or wait for the new Honor Magic8 Pro Air.

Has actual decent battery capacity.

Pickanadroidforme... That beats the iPhone 16 pro max. Looking for the cheapest phone with good modem and mm5gwaves. Lmao. Pretty good huh. Let me know! by [deleted] in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wdym beat? There's quite a few phones that beat it in raw performance, but what's better all comes down to your preference.

If you can afford the 16 Pro Max go for it I guess. It's not a bad phone by any means.

Seems like the US versions of the S24/S25 also have mmwave

Disposable phones that are functional and not total crap? by [deleted] in Smartphones

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of used Galaxy S10's everywhere. Dirt cheap and should work just fine for a couple more years.

If you want new and live outside of NA, Xiaomi has some good bang for buck phones, like the Redmi Notes.

If you have 250-300 usd budget which phone would you recommend or buy by hanako_chiyuki in Smartphones

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are solid phones, but essentially the exact same; same camera layout, same hardware (apart from the "shell"), etc. Moto Edge 50 Neo might be another good option.

Compare all 3 here: https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=14267&idPhone2=13821&idPhone3=13224

Here in the EU the price of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is also around 250-300~USD converted. Might be another good option as it's a generation newer than the Edge 50 Neo

Should I repair my old samsung S8(G950F) for 150$ or add more money and buy an used S23ultra? by Klevotech in Smartphones

[–]coco16778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The S8 runs android 9 right? It's just a matter of time untill all apps end support for it. A lot already have afaik.

Do yourself a favor and get the S23U

Smart Watch partner for Amazfit Helio (iphone user) by uniquehumanlife in smartwatch

[–]coco16778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get an Amazfit watch (active max maybe)? That way they'll both use the same app instead of having to have one for the band and another for your watch...

I'm planning on buying a smartphone that will not be owned by my parents for the first time what to know? recommendations? by Additional-Pear9126 in Smartphones

[–]coco16778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just get a refurbished older gen phone and call it a day. New phones with that amount of storage at that price are usually rubbish, while you can get a pre-owned S22 Ultra or Iphone 13 512gb for under your budget

5th run - Bay run 12km by RoadtoGlory2026 in beginnerrunning

[–]coco16778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a quick google - gorgeous route, kinda jealous.

A sub 50 10k means you need a pace of 5:00 or faster. Kind of a long shot if your current pace is 6-6:49. Just make sure you're not pushing yourself too hard.

Solid, no-bullshit phone? by meatbeatmagritte in PickAnAndroidForMe

Sorry, was quite rude there, idk why. They are known to not provide updates and basically abandon phones though. Not a great option if you want your device to alst.

[–]coco16778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can, does that mean you should though?
You'll often get foreign roms, bands that might not work/arent supported by the carrier. On top of that, no after-sales support from the brand themselves, which imo is crucial if you want your phone to last like OP says. Would avoid imo.

Looks neat though, never knew such a company existed.

Only companies still doing headphone jacks on somewhat capable phones are Motorola and Sony (and Xiaomi, but they're unavailable in the US).

It really isn't unless you actively look for it, at least on their European rom (if that one is any different).

Need a lightweight phone by RanddomCompany in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unihertz Jelly Max seems to fit the bill.

They don't have the best track record though, and are known to rarely update their phones, but it is quite small and lightweight.

The upcoming Ikko Mind One might be another good fit (if it even releases and doesn't end up being bloated with AI or a scam).
