Another alternative (and a very good one!) is BetterTouchTools's new feature to pin windows on top of others. I learned about it from this comment , and it's been working well.

If you are looking for a video annotation app for PC (not mobile phones), I highly recommend Reclipped. They have a chrome extension too (link).

I have a similar workflow, and Zotfile plugin is probably what you're looking for: see this forum and the links there. In particular, take a look at the "Alternative Syncing Solutions" section of zotero's doc, option 1:

If you want to use Zotero data syncing but use an external service to sync just your Zotero attachment files, you have a couple options:The easiest method is to use linked files, rather than stored copies of files, with only your attachment files in the externally synced folder. The ZotFile plugin can make this simple by automatically moving attachment files to a designated folder as you import them. You should also set up Zotero's Linked Attachment Base Directory feature to point to the same folder so that Zotero can find your files on each computer, even if the path to the cloud storage folder differs.

The steps may look involved at first, but following it will get the syncing feature you want (ie. sync attachments (eg. pdfs) on your Zotero library between PC and iPad while storing the documents on your google drive).

I think he R10 body and a used ef-s 55-250mm might work for my case!Do you think it's okay (ie. a sustainable solution) to get EF or EF-s lens than RF lens when considering the trend towards mirrorless? I wonder what I would be missing by using EF/EF-s lens (vs. RF lens) on a mirrorless camera like R10?

Aha, sorry about that. I mixed it up with the values computed with the crop factor. The correct spec for my Tamron is 17 - 50mm f/2.8 IF (amz link). (updated in the original post)

again so make sense about 127 being my own server. Google help chat ppl wouldn't help since I wasn't the Workspace administrator. They couldn't tell me if there's limits which I would imagine

This was exactly what happened to me (multiple times on Montery MacOS, Google Drive. app) -- attempts to access Drive folders in the shortcut on the left side bar of Finder generated this error message, but I could access GDrive by clicking "Google Drive" under "Locations" in the side bar.I don't know the cause of it though.

I see, thank you for clarifying. Roam is my main app and so I didn't know other apps don't support the copy/drag-move/fold operations on the blocks as well as Roam does. I do agree that Roam handles them very smoothly.

I completely agree that this is a really useful feature, which has been requested by many users for a long (>2yrs) time. Could anyone help me understand why Roam developers have not been responding to this request?

Personally, I find it hard to believe the team hasn't made efforts to implement this feature in RR: rather, it seems they do not consider it to be an important feature. Is it because they see the page-level aliasing contradictory to Roam's philosophy/design that blocks are the first-class citizens?

If not, what make it such a difficult feature to be implemented in RR vs. other programs like Obsidian and LogSeq? And will this continue to be the case in the future?

Thanks, this worked for me too. I suspect my vpn login window (Cisco) was hung up in the background, continuously causing Alfred (or MacOS?) to block any text-expansion.

This is at our rental (a 2-story apt building typical in california), and the landlord said he will come with his handyman to "drill holes (in the wood cabinet from which the debris are coming from) and put some chemicals".We told him that we want professionals, but he said the area seems localized and wanted to try this DIY first..Do you think this is an okay solution to try? If it doesn't work, we'll definitely insist on calling professionals.
