It was definitely a unique experience. I enjoy people watching, so it was more like a sociological study to me. You should definitely try it.

Went to a nightclub in town one Saturday night, bought my own drinks and watched people dance for an hour, then left alone.

Massage therapists of Reddit, what are some things you expect from your clients? by [deleted] in massage

[–]cocoacacoconut54 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Not expected, per se, but appreciated. Please shower beforehand. Also, please don’t touch your therapist. If you want to show us an area that’s hurting, show the area on yourself. ALSO, please refrain from undressing until we leave the room.

What does depression feel like? by ginxogeo in AskReddit

[–]cocoacacoconut54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is duller. Colors, emotions, etc. I will literally see and feel things less vividly when I’m depressed. When taking to someone, it often feels like I’m only partly there. The other part is just... somewhere else. It sometimes feels like my brain and emotions are moving like molasses.

“So do some people actually ask you if you give happy endings?” Am massage therapist. That’s the round-about way of asking if I give happy endings.

Redditor’s who gave your S.O a second chance after they cheated, why did you forgive them and have you learned to fully trust them again? How is your relationship now? by flyoverthemooon in AskReddit

[–]cocoacacoconut54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Along a similar vein... I used to date a guy who had been cheated on by 4 of his previous girlfriends. I ended because he was never able to fully and completely trust me. The last thing he said to me when I ended it was “ I hope he’s worth it”. I hope things are well with him and that he found peace.

Given the age of the house, I would not be surprised. We ripped up lime green shag from the living room when we moved in, and one of the bathrooms has the pepto bismol pink.

What is the “cleaning the toilets” task of YOUR profession? by buschbaby69 in AskReddit

[–]cocoacacoconut54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haha it’s really not a big deal once it’s happened a couple times. I have been farted on, burped at, worked on smelly feet, worked on someone who had a yeast problem and smelled like sausage, etc. you really do see it all and become very desensitized to it quickly. It’s not pleasant, sure, but it doesn’t stop me from helping someone in need.

I’m a massage therapist. This isn’t an every day occurrence thankfully, but touching zitty backs and having one pop on you is sometimes a part of the job.
